Concrete Roses (Dave East Story)

Chapter 05.

                                ~ Dave's POV

I been working on some music at home while Jayla was either out modeling, with Cooper or just upstairs. She don't actually bothers me.

Today i was gonna go to the studio with a few of my boys and make magic happen. I didn't know if i wanted Jayla to come or not because of how the boys act around females they don't know but i mean she would be under my care at all time.

"Ayoo Jay" I said as i opened her room door and she was playing with Cooper

"Yes dave" she said looking up at me

"I was wondering if you would want to come to the studio with me" i said

"Sure, it should be fun" she said

"Be ready in 30 minutes" i said then closed her door.

I went to my room to get ready myself. I took a shower , and did the rest of my routine i do every morning.

After all that....

Jayla and I was at Ihop getting us a quick breakfast before heading to the studio. She was on her phone while i was thinking about what to say to her. We haven't actually been talking like we used to.

"So um how is the whole modeling thing going" i asked her as she looked up at her phone at me.

"Oh its going good" she said smiling

"Oh that's good" i said

"How has the rapping thing going" she asked

"I hope good, i been struggling here and there but I'm hoping that i get through it" i said

"You going to get through it, I believe in you" she said

"Thanks, appreciate it" i said

The waiter came back with our food, setting it on the table then walks away. We both started eating then after we was done, i paid for our food then we left and i drove to the studio.

I parked the car and we both go out, i came over to her side and pulled her to me.

"So i just want to tell you this..my boys in there go crazy over females. They will try flirting and things but pay them no attention. Just say hey to them and bye when its time to leave" i said to her

"Ohk i will" she said nodding her head.

I took her hand and we walked to the doors and went inside. I took my phone out to see what room to go into. When i found the number i walked inside with Jayla behind me.

"Ayo there go that nigga Dave" my boy Josh said as blew smoke out his mouth then got up coming over and dapping me.

"Wassupp yall" i said giving dap to all them

"Who this sexy lady here" Isaiah said as he turned his chair all the way around to us

"This here is my girl Jayla" i said said as i looks at her

"Haii" she said waving and smiling.

After speaking, she sat down on the couch away from the guys and got on her phone.

"You can go ahead into the booth whenever you ready Dave" Isaiah said

I walked into the booth, closing the door almost all the way. I put on the headphones and we started working on the first song that i been working on.

I was sitting away from the guys as Dave told me, on my phone playing games from Helix Jump to Baseball Boy. Then some guy sat somewhat by me.
