Concrete Roses (Dave East Story)

Chapter 03.

~ Jayla's POV

I been staying with dave for quite a while, i been very nice to me and everything. I sorta have a crush on him but he is a bit older than me.

Right now , dave is out handling business while I'm home. Dave said he got a surprise for me when he gets home , so I'm so happy for it.

It was 7:30 in the evening and i was in Dave's bed, playing Fortnite. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs  which was dave.

"In my room i see" he said as he walks in

"It's comfortable" i said as i focus on the game..

He had a small box in his hand that he set down in front of me. I glanced down then back at the game. The box moved a little. Since it was only 1 person left on the other team in 50v50, i just stood around.

"I think you would love what is in the box" he said sitting on the bed next to me

I opened the box and pretty much got hella excited. It was my favorite type of puppy. A freaking corgi. Them dogs cost 600-1000 dollars. I hugged dave tightly. Then the unexpected happened.. My lips came together with his..

He didn't pull away or anything. We kissed for a few more seconds before i pulled away, i felt my cheeks burning. He licked his lips then smiled.

"I didn't.. mean to do that" i said playing with my nails

"No worries, it doesn't matter to me" he said

It was dead silent for a moment before he spoke ..

"So um the dog is a male .. what you naming it" he asked

"Umm... Cooper" I said as I look at the dog

"That's a nice name, I like it.." he said

I smiled and then picked Cooper up, he was so adorable. I love dogs with a passion and never could get one with my parents because my mom was allergic to dogs.

"You sleeping in my room again or..?" He asked taking his shoes off and putting them in the box

I have to say this man keeps everything organized from top to bottom.

"Um yea" i said putting cooper down

"Alright, ima take a shower" he said going to the bathroom

The only reason i been sleep with dave is because i been having nightmares of my parent finding me and torturing me to the point i kill myself. Once i told dave , he said he would keep me safe and that i could at any time sleep with him.

I laid down in the bed pulling the covers up on me some and put it on 13 reasons why. Dave came out the bathroom like 15mins later.

"Yoooooo , this my shittttt" he said putting on his shirt and getting in the bed with me

I giggled because usually guys like him.. i mean i don't know , they usually don't watch this... guess i was wrong.

"You serious?" I said looking at him with a questioning face

"Hell yea, That Gay girl fucked up" he said putting his phone on the charger

"Well damn, this only the first season, episode one" i said

"Ohh man, you tripping. Its good as shit" he said "you gotta watch , stare, observe it"

"Will do" i said having lots of thoughts in my head about dave.We spent that night cuddling and watching 13 reasons why.

The next morning i woke up and dave wasn't next to me. I sat up, stretching and got up , walking out the room. I walked downstairs, the air smell like food was getting cooked. I walked into the kitchen and saw dave cooking and Cooper eating.
