Sixth Chapter

They heard a noise coming from the radio and when they started to tune it and tried to find any interesting station. They tuned a radio which was playing 'Rupert Holmes - Escape' song. IT raised the volume and slowly started to dance.
"Come on Newbie... dance with me, I don't want to look like lonely weirdo."
"I don't know how to dance to this song." said Henry but he was suddenly interrupted by a radioman saying : "This is radio Vintage, Now playing 'Time of my life' by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes." and the song suddenly started to play.
"This one... You have to know how to dance to this one." said IT
"But... but... Scav is sleeping in the next room."
"He won't care, he is asleep."
"What if he sees us?"
"He will be a bit jealous, but that's ok... Come on Newbie."
They started dance, Henry was a bit lame at it but he got used to it.
Their dance slowly continued and they both enjoyed it.
"You're not that bad." said IT suddenly
"Not with you." replied Henry
"Oh that was sweet..." said IT and smiled
They danced till song stopped and their romance did too.
"Let's change the station." proposed IT and changed the station.
"Now playing Ed Sheeran - Thinking out loud. Enjoy." said the radioman
"Would you want to dance with me Abby?" asked Henry stretching his arm in front of IT
"Are we at some school ball... But anyways I will."
So they started their romance again.
Once the song stopped, IT took out an old cassette from her drawer. She put it inside the radio. Radio started to play older songs that they could dance to.
"I don't want this to end." said IT
"This moment might end up but we will remember it till death."
"And what if you or me die tomorrow?"
"We won't."
They danced almost all night, but then they decided to go to sleep. It was hard to end up such beautiful moment but they needed rest.
Next day, they decided to tune a military radio station. They tried every frequency possible but without success.
"We should try some local radio." proposed Scavenger
They tried and they got one. Music was playing, when suddenly a mans' voice interrupted it : "To all habitants of New York. This is emergency broadcast. Temperature is -62°C and it's snowing. We want to announce that on Sunday noon a military helicopter is coming to take some habitants to warmer regions. The helicopter is going to land near the Statue of Liberty. I repeat this Sunday at noon a military helicopter is coming to take some habitants to warmer regions. Be prepared and take things that you need. Seats are limited so the sooner you come the better for you. Wish you luck travellers." ended the man and some song started to play.
"Do you know, what does that mean?" asked Scavenger
"We are going to move away." said Henry
"Ok... So we need to pack up and prepare for Sunday..."
"It's Monday Scav. " said IT
"We should be prepared for the things to come. Even if it's Monday. So pack up things you need and be prepared for tomorrow. We will start our journey tomorrow because the sooner we come there the better for us." said Scavenger
They packed up and went to get some rest to start their journey. They slept all day long with small piss breaks and prepared for the most exhausting trip.
