The Ice Age

Second Chapter

Whole day passed and they had to return back to the Bunker. They took the corpse with them too.
"We are back and guess what do we have for you!" said Scav as they entered the door
"What it is?" asked woman which name Henry still didn't know.
They unwrapped the body
"This means, that I will have some work to do right? Henry do you want to help me with examination?" asked woman.
"Why not he can help you while I get some rest." said Scav
"What?... Why?" asked Henry with fear.
"It is a good oportunity to learn somethig new from biology." said woman.
"Ok then, I can help you." said Henry unwillingly.
They started, woman prepared scalpel, scissors, some jars (in which they'll put organs), rubber gloves and switched on light in the room, which they'll use as "operation room".
"Ok we are ready, can you please bring our patient?" said woman
Henry brought the body.
They started...
"Please hand me a scalpel Newbie."
He gave it to the woman.
As they slowly continued Henry asked : "Can I ask you something?"
"Yes!" said woman
"What is your name? Because I haven't heard Scav said it and there was no better occasion for this question."
"We don't use names..."said woman
"I know, but you know what I meant" replied Henry
"So my nickname is IT (pronounced like acronym for information technologies),  but my real name is Abby."
"Thank you Abby..."
"Call me IT instead, please. " said Abby and smiled.
They continued their operation.
" Hand me that jar Newbie" said IT
Henry gave her the jar and she put there one of the lungs.
"IT please don't call me Newbie, it's awkward." said Henry
"Ok Bie (she said pronouncing like bee)."
They have taken out the persons lungs, stomach, kidneys...
"Ok this one is special..." said IT taking out the heart.
"Hand me the jar... slowly... And that's it. We are done!" said as she put the heart into the jar.
"So... Uhm... What to do now? asked Henry.
"We have to cool them down, so you will take them out and burry them into the snow."
"Why me?"
"Because I have bloody and slippery hands."
"Ok then." said Henry,  took jars and went out the trailer. He burried those jars in the snow.
He got in the bunker and asked IT :"And what are we going to do with those organs?"
"Sell them, but the right question is what are we going to do with the corpse... "
"We can throw it out." proposed Henry.
"We can't, we have to burry him."
They took the corpse out. Burried him about 20 metres away from the Bunker.
"And to whom we are going to sell these organs?" asked Henry
"We'll sell them to merchant, who has his shop partially hidden somewhere under the Time Square. But I don't know where it is, because only Scav knows him, I have never met him before. But Scav said that this guy is fair, knows a lot and has contacts all around the New York and New Jersey." said IT
"I think we will have to wait until Scav wakes up and then we can continue with this." said Henry
They laid on sofa, chatted and then they decided to go get some rest. IT laid on sofa, Henry laid on the ground and they fell asleep.
