Starry night sky

New neighbors

I wake up late afternoon after a night of tumbling in my bed. I fell asleep at 6am that's when the Zzquil kicked in, I look at my clock and notice it's 4:00pm as I look at my clock and stare back at the ceiling. I hear some shouting outside my window, I always keep my curtains shut because I don't like the sun inside my room it bothers me a lot and just makes me feel weak. From curiosity I slowly get out of bed with my body aching of not getting out of bed for weeks, I reach my window I slowly open a little peek of my curtains and it burns my eyes from the constant crying and being in the dark. I get a glimpse of what is happening outside and it looks like someone is moving in, I try to keep looking but i get unmotivated again and slump back into bed, I turn on my tv and put on Netflix I choose to continue watching "gLee". After a few episodes of glee my stomach starts grumbling. I get up slowly with my body aching and my eyes burning and head to my door, my mom when I was about 12 got me a door mirror, as I look in the mirror I see that I'm more skinnier than usual as I open the door my cat quickly gets in between my legs happy to see me I slightly smile and head downstairs. My whole body feels very weak so I hold on to the railing feeling as I'm going to fall down once I get to the last step I feel slightly relieved that I didn't fall. I put the hood of my pink hoodie up and walk into the kitchen, I pour myself a bowl of fruit loops as I pour I look around the living room,dining area,and kitchen and it looks like my parents aren't home again. I go back upstairs into my room, I find my cat laying on my bed, my curtains closed and "gLee"  playing on my Tv. I can still hear the messy neighbors moving in and I try to ignore them. Hours pass by and it's 7pm I hear the doorbell ring and head downstairs weakly, as I thought it was my parents I go downstairs with my oversized pink hoodie on long white socks, some short shorts, and my messy black hair. As I open the door I feel embarrassed it's two of my new neighbors bringing me what looks like some pasta. "Sorry to interrupt your afternoon" some tall brown hair with light eyes brown haired boy says to me, as I stare at him blankly his sister sighs "can we leave already" she rolls her eyes and goes back to texting on her phone. "sorry for the appearance and thank you for the welcome gift" as I start to close the door bc I want to be back in my room the boy holds it back open "do you go out often in the neighborhood, like my is question like is it safe" he laughs shyly and awkwardly after saying something weirdly arranged. "No don't go out much" as I try to close the door again, he holds it back open "we should talk sometime, I think we're gonna be great friends" as he hands me the pasta bowl I smile lightly and finally close the door. I put the pasta in the fridge with a sticky note saying "Sam". I grab some goldfish from the pantry and a coke from the fridge. Pour some food and water into Astrid's bowls. As I'm done putting them on the floor I take my food and go back upstairs, I check my phone and have more than a few missed calls and texts from my parents saying lame excuses why their gonna be late, I also have a few from my friends and some snaps so I check on those and it's the same bullshit "streaks" and "hmu" I put down my phone and hear some small thuds on my window, as I open my window I see my new neighbor throwing paper clips and airplanes at my window. I open the curtains and see he's written something on his window with an expo marker, I try to read and it's just a phone number. I grab my phone sighing loudly and rolling my eyes, I add his phone number and instantly receive a text from Alex...

I leave him on read and put my phone back to charging on my nightstand. I watch a few Dan and Phil gaming vids and take a shot of Zzzquil. As my eyes slowly close I see stars and fall into a deep sleep....
