Ben: Why are we shopping for breakfast?

Karli: Jonah invited me to the movies!

Ben: Oh wow....

Karli: What

Ben: Look you and him have been through hell these past weeks. He feels bad

Karli: Jonah....MY brother...feels bad

Ben: I don't blame him

Karli: What....what are you hiding?

Ben: Well...Josh invited me to the movies too

Karli: Wait....with my brother?

Ben: I guess

Karli: When were they ever friends

Ben: His sister is dating your brother

Karli looked stunned

Ben: You didn't know

Karli: No

Ben: Yeah well yeah

Karli: He told me he was single

Ben: It is called "lying"

Karli: Oh....I didn't know

Ben: Your being sarcastic aren't you

Karli picks up syrup from a bottom shelf

Karli: Ok...your paying

Karli rolls away with the buggy

Ben: Hey!

An hour later----

Dexter calls Ben

-calling-

Ben: Hello

Dexter: Hey where you've been, out assignment is due in two days

Ben: Sorry, I've been busy

Dexter: Well can you come work on it with me?

Ben: Ok

Ben heads to Dexter's house

He knocks and Dexter answers

Ben: Sup

Dexter and him go upstairs to work on their project

Dexter: I've got a lot so read and see

Ben reads it

Dexter: Hey..are you going to the movies tonight?

Ben: Yeah...how'd you know?

Dexter: I got invited from a guy named Jonah. Whoever the hell that is

Ben: Oh uh...he's my friend

Dexter: Well...should I go?

Ben: If you want...I'd like you too

Dexter smiles

Ben: That's the first time you smiled like that

Dexter: Ben, I draw and make designs on my computer 24/7. I don't leave my house for anything other than school

Ben: Is that a yes?

Dexter: Did you finish reading it?

Ben: Yes

Dexter: Well that's my answer

Ben: Cool
