The Movies - Taehyung

You two have been best friends since the first grade. He realized he loved you since the day you shared your pb and j sandwich during lunch since a mean Park Jimin stole his lunch in the eighth grade.

~High school: Summer of eleventh grade to be a senior

"I want to go to the movies" Taehyung poked your soft cheeks while sitting on the couch next to you, bugging you while your eyes focused on the T.V screen as Busted was playing.

"Sehun is sooo good looking!" you ignored Taehyung and fangirled. Taehyung rolled his eyes and snatched the remote controller to power off the T.V.

"Hey! I was watching" you faced Taehyung, annoyed.

"And I was talking to you. I wanna go to the movies. It's summer and I want to go out- go out to the movies, I mean" he stuttered.

"Well I heard the Incredibles 2 is out. We can go watch that movie" you suggested picking up your phone to find the nearest movie theatre and what time the movie will start.

"This isn't like a date though right?" you questioned eyeing him closely.

"It doesn't have to be if you don't want it to be" Taehyung teased.

"Yah! No, I don't want it to be. We're just best friends. What about that girl you were texting? Jennie was it? You should take her and I can take Jungkookie" another suggestion you gave.

"Jennie told me she was texting other guys. Jungkook is too busy playing overwatch. Can the two of us just go alone? It's just a movie"

"Okay, if you say so"

As Taehyung drove you noticed him being somewhat awkward. He was quiet and distant during the entire ride. Usually he would poke you, blast music and would sing it in a very loud, in an annoying voice just to annoy you. But he looked stern and tense.

~7pm at the movies theaters

After you purchased some popcorn and drinks you both arrived to your seats where the previews and commercials were playing.

"Are you okay Tae?" you whispered stuffing some popcorn into your mouth afterwards.

"Yeah, I'm fine" he answered sipping his soda eyes locked on the screen.

To brighten up the mood you decided to tease him.

"Do you want a kiss?" you asked as he glanced over at you with his soft eyes. His eyes quickly dragged themselves off of the movie screen to stare at your glowing eyes in the dark in confusion.
"What?" he questioned in a low whisper trying not to disturb others from watching the movie. You chuckled to yourself then snatched out a bag of Hershey kisses from your bag and offered one to him.
He rolled his eyes in which you did not see and took one to his pocket.

"What were you thinking about?" You let out a small giggle being sarcastic. You knew he thought you were asking him for a real kiss. You guys did once during your 8th grade camping trip because it was a dumb dare and you did realize you liked him more than you thought, but you did not tell him for you were afraid of rejection . Taehyung cheeks grew burning red as you caressed your hands upon them.

"I'm sorry, but you seem uneasy. Are you sure you're okay? Are you sick?" you inferred and placed your head on his forehead.

"That's because I do want to kiss you" he confessed lowly, eyes still stuck on the movie screen.

"What?" you blurted to see if you heard that clearly and your cheeks became very hot.

"We should talk after the movie is over Y/N" he decided and he then he interlocked his big soft fingers into your stubby small cute fingers. A smile grew on his face, but you were too shocked to even notice.

But of course throughout the entire movie, you were now the nervous and tense one. Once in awhile, Taehyung would glance at you to see your reaction of the movie. Before you even knew it, Taehyung had slowly drifted off to sleep. His head perfectly nuzzled on the right side of your shoulder and his fragrance attracted you much more.

~In the car: Taehyung is on his way to drop you off home from the movies

The ride to your house was silent until you broke it.

"So Taehyung .. about earlier? Did you mean it? A smile grew on his face once more and he stayed focused on the road.

"Yeah Y/N I did. I've liked you for a long time now. Since the 8th grade actually. Jungkook told me he liked you first so I wanted to give him the chance first"

"Boy,I liked you since that first kiss we had in 8th grade. I thought I was just living in the moment so I blew it off. Jungkook is like a brother to me. I baby him a lot" you laughed.

"Well, we're best friends now."

"Just best friends?"

"No, because I also want to be with you" his soft touch at your chin to make you look up at him made your insides shiver.

~You are now parked outside of your house ready to leave when ...

"Please say something. I don't want to lose you" he pouted holding your hands.

"TAehyung, I want to be with you too. You both smiled at each other. He pecked your forehead and walked you to the front door of your house hand in hand.

"Wait, we're doing this now?" you questioned. Taehyung laughed and patted your head.

"Well , we are official now. I would want to let your parents know."

"Taehyung, my parents aren't home right now, but I have the house keys"

"Bummer" he sighed.

"Well there's always a next time" he sighed once more and started walking off to his car.

As you were opening the door to get inside Taehyung came back.

"I forgot this" Taehyung spoke.

"Forgot what?" you asked confused. Taehyung pulled out a hershey chocolate kiss from his pocket.

"Your kiss" he smirked and held the chocolate kiss up in your face.

"Pabo" you replied while chuckling.

"And about earlier" Taehyung spoke slowly stepping closer to you as you almost stepped inside your home.

"Let me kiss you" Taehyung grabbed your hands that was apparently covering your blushing face. He placed a quick but smooth kiss on your lips. Your stomach filled with butterflies. He wished you a goodnight and promised to call you the next day and in which of course he did.
