Confession - Hoseok (Fluff)

"Congrats on finishing your exams Y/N! I know how much stress it is." Namjoon patted your back, gesturing his glass of wine in the air to everyone at the table to cheer.

"I couldn't have done it without you guys, really." You blushed and let out a small smile.Cliche. But it was the honest truth.

"All credits to Hoseok. He practically dragged us out to help you Y/N, really. We're all happy that we were able to help you." Jin chimed taking a sip of the red wine.

"Except for Taehyung. Yeontan owns his brain cell." Jimin giggled to himself while you chuckled at his adorable laugh.

"Hyung, you know that he's busy with modeling." Jungkook nudged Jimin's shoulder, rolling his eyes.

"He's really sorry that he couldn't come celebrate tonight with us. You know him. Gucci model and all." Jungkook stared at the text message on his phone and you stared at the empty seat.

Before you could speak, the doorbell rang and there stood Minjae. She was in her typical cute blouse and a flowy skirt, paired with white heels. Your friends frowned. She immediately saw you and waved with that fake smile of hers. Her heels clicked over to your table.

"Is this seat taken?" She points to the empty seat that was meant for Taehyung.

"Yes. My leg needs to rest here." Yoongi answered lifting both legs onto the the leather chair.

"Hyung." Hoseok glared.

"Actually, Hoseok I need to talk to you ... alone." Minjae scanned around the room, eyeing you on purpose

Hoseok smiled. "Whatever you need to say, you can say it in front of my friends, can't you?"

"It's a secret. It'll take less than a minute I swear." She whispered , but everyone heard anyways. Hoseok nodded.

"I'll be outside." He excused himself and followed after Minjae to outside of the cafe shop.

"You'd better go after Hoseok." Jin advised.

- Hoseok and Minjae outside-

"So, if you didn't already know .. I really like you Hoseok." Minjae's hands fiddled around the hem of her skirt as she stared at the ground saying that.

"Minjae .. I've told you too many times. I don't like you like that. I think it's best if you go back home." Hoseok stated firmly and turned his body to walk back into the cafe. As soon as he turned his body half way, Hoseok saw you coming out of the door and Minjae couldn't control herself so she threw her hands behind Hoseok's waist.

"Please. Hoseok ... give me a chance. I'll prove to you that I'm good enough." Minjae begged as she was gripping Hoseok's waist.

"Minjae, let go." Hoseok shoved her away while he looked at your confused faced. You finally pushed the door wide open and started to speed walk. You didn't know where, but you just kept walking straight as it got cloudy and darker.

"Minjae, I'm sorry. You're not the one I like. Y/N is. Please let me be." He stated respectfully and walked back in the cafe, leaving Minjae alone.

"Where's Y/N?" Jungkook asked getting up from his seat worried.

"I'm going after her. I'm taking your umbrella hyung." Hoseok ignored Jungkook's question and snatched the umbrella besides Jin on the floor and left to go after you.

Crap. You felt the droplets of water fall on her your head. Then on your clothes. Eventually your entire body became soaked and you trudged through the wet concrete. You almost made your way to sit on a city bus bench, then you saw an umbrella hovering over your head, protecting your from the heavy rain. You slowly turned around to face whoever it was. It was Hoseok.

"Why'd you run away?" You couldn't answer. You couldn't say it was out of jealousy because they weren't even together. But you were jealous for no damn reason. You gave him a blank stare and he stared at your drenched figure. Then Hoseok pulled you into his chest. His one hand gripping onto the umbrella between the both of you, his other hand on your back as you were now captivated in his chest.

"You know what you saw was a misunderstanding. You know you're the one I like." The loud thumps on the umbrella didn't you keep you from hearing what he wanted to say, but you closed your eyes against his chest and wrapped your shivering arms around his waist. Hoseok smiled warmly as he rubbed your back.

"Hoseok ... " You were still uncertain.

Without replying, he kissed you. Sweet and passionately, your lips moved together for just a few seconds.

"Is that enough proof for you?" He spoke softly after the unexpected kiss. You smiled so big you had to pierce your lips. You nodded. The two of you walked awkwardly back to the bar.

"Goodness, you're back. And wet." Namjoon commented staring at the two of you from bottom to top.

"How'd things go hyung?" Jungkook smirked.

"Where's Jimin?" You changed the subject not seeing him or Yoongi.

"He's totally wasted so Yoongi took him home." Jin informed shaking his head.

"We should get going too. All of us." Hoseok suggested.

"HOld up. What happened between you two?" Jin smirked along with Jungkook.

Hoseok took your hand in his and raised it in the air.

"We're official." They all cheered and you blushed.
