I've Missed You - Namjoon

It's been too long. Too long. Three months to be exact. The whole summer without my perfect boyfriend, Namjoon. He's been busy exploring LA with his friends and it's understandable. They promised to go to LA together without any distractions. Luckily, I was able to keep myself busy the whole summer since I've been working to save money. Namjoon and I promised we'd go on a road trip together some day. 

The whole summer I was bored and lonely and I missed Namjoon. The entire summer we only had four facetime calls together. One of which Namjoon got too drunk the first night and I gave them a lecture of drinking too much and I was basically screaming through the other line the entire time. Another time because Taehyung, Jimin, and Jungkook fought over a girl they met from a bar and they needed me to decide who should get her. In the end, let's just say she didn't want them anymore. And lastly, two calls of which his wifi apparently went down because of the hot heat wave in LA. The both of us decided that it was best to enjoy our summer without each other, but to keep each other updated. I even texted Hoseok to watch over Namjoon's clumsy self. 

Even though we also promised to focus on ourselves that summer, we couldn't stop sharing our adventures together. Well, Namjoon couldn't. 

It's finally the last week of summer and I'm on my way to the airport to pick up the boys. It would be awkward to show up alone so I dragged along my bestie to go with me. I made sure the both of us looked presentable. 

It's been three months. Three months since my boyfriend has seen me. I'm a little freaked out and paranoid that Namjoon may have found someone better, but Minseo reminds me that I'm just crazy and needy. Very needy indeed. I decide to throw on a simple outfit; ripped jeans with a stripe t-shirt paired and very little makeup since I barely wear any. I even help Minseo make a better impression for her crush, Jungkook.

We arrive at the foot of the airport and wait in the seats. I'm tapping my foot on the floor, scanning around while Minseo looks uncomfortable and her body tenses up. I tap her shoulder and she gets startled. 

"Don't be so awkward. Jungkook already knows anyways." I tease and she smacks my arm. Before I say anything, from my peripheral vision I see seven tall figures coming my way. I immediately starting running like a manic as Namjoon hands his bag and suitcase to Yoongi and sprints towards me with a huge smile. I see his beautiful smile and perfect shaped dimples. He looks better the last time we saw each other. 

Our bodies collide to one. His long arms tight against my body. His lingering scent I've no longer remembered, but remember again. My chin rests upon his right shoulder as he squeezes me and we rock sideways. I'm smiling so much so much so much I can't stop smiling with I'm with him.

"Baby, I've missed you so much." He breathes against the side of my head and my heart melts. We're still in the same position for what felt like minutes and we don't want to let go of each other. I don't say anything because he already knows. 

"Okay. We get it. You're in love. Can we go now?" Yoongi interrupts, his hands are full. The boys and everyone by us is staring as we pull away from each other.

"Hyung, it's been three months. Let them have their moment." Taehyung chimes cheering. Namjoon pulls me into his arms again. My hands snake around his neck. 

"You know ... I forgot something before I went to LA." He says as he caresses my cheek and looks into my darring eyes that ask "what?"

He leans into me, staring at my lips, but to save him the work I tiptoe and our lips glue together like magic. In those short seconds, I felt restored. No words to explain how much I missed being with him. It doesn't last long since we don't like PDA and we know they're staring. I quickly pull away before my hand behind his neck wants to ruffle his hot hair.  

"I've missed you too." I say loudly and we're finally finished with our minnie reunion. We walk hand in hand as I roll his suitcase to the car, I spot Jungkook making conversation with Minseo.
