MingKit - Seven Days

Chapter 6 - Saturday

Kit opened his eyes to find Beam still sleeping beside him. They slept late last night after drinking and Beam crying himself to sleep.

After driving Ming home Kit hurriedly went back and really find Beam sitting outside his dorm room eyes puffy from crying.

He got out of the bed to prepare breakfast for the two of them. He checked his medicine cabinet for meds cause he surely knows Beam will need one when he wakes up.

He thought of Beam and Forth while preparing breakfast. They fought because of Forth going home for the weekend. For some it may sound trivial but who are we to judge.

'Maybe it's really like that' Kit thought. 'We do stupid things when we're in love.' He remembered suddenly getting angry at Ming for answering a call while they're...

'Oh shit!' He felt his face getting hot. 'Now, I'm thinking of us that way.'

He focus back on perfecting the sunny side up he is cooking. He set the table and was about to wake up Beam when his phone rings.

"Hello." It's Ming.

"P'Kit! Good morning!" Kit can imagined Ming smiling on the other line.

"Good morning!" Kit find himself smiling too.

"Did I wake you up?" Ming asked.

"No. I'm awake for quite sometime now. I cooked breakfast for me and Beam." Kit said then seeing movements on his bedroom.

"Is P'Beam okay?" He heard Ming asked concern on his voice. 'It must be the way I rushed back home. I got him worried.'

"He's better. I think." Kit laughed. "They been together for so long so this thing really happens once in a while. Don't worry. Wait. Are you home?" Kit asked. He saw Beam get out of the bed to go to the bathroom.

"Yes. But I'm going to school today. P'Lam message me to go. Professor want us to change some of the videos so we're back to square one." Ming said with a long sigh. "I actually thought of skipping since they are so many of them going there..." Ming was not able to finish what he is saying as he can heard Kit's cold voice.

"You better show yourself there or I will really get mad at you!" Kit shouted.

"Okay. Okay." Ming said not wanting to get on Kit's bad side again.

"But can we eat lunch together?" Ming asked. "I really want to see, P."

Kit suddenly feels his heart skip a beat. He wants to see him too but he can't say that. "I can go there at lunch time." Kit said instead. "Make sure you go help Lam okay?" Kit asked just making sure Ming will go.

"Yes, P." Ming replied.

"Okay. Su su." He heard Ming laughed on the other line.

"That's cute!" Ming said. "Say it again please?" Ming plead.

"Stop it!" Now he felt his face getting hot again and his heart beating too fast. 'Is he trying to kill me?' He heard Ming laughed again. "Beam is awake. I have to go." He ended the call.

Then he tried to calm himself. 'God. I'm really damned.'

"Being lovey dovey this early in the morning?" Kit was startled. He didn't notice Beam went out of the room. "Is that Ming?" Beam asked. "Shit. My head really hurts."

Kit realized he had not really told Beam and Forth about him and Ming. But then they are his friends and knew him way better than he knew himself. 'I guess they knew.'

Kit nodded as he hand over a paracetamol to Beam for his headache.

"You got it bad." Beam said and saw Kit nod again. He didn't laughed nor joke about it because he knew Kit is serious. 'Shit Kit of all the students in our campus.' He thought while looking at Kit with concern. He sighed. "Does Ming know how you feel?"
