algedonic. associating pain with pleasure. many would describe the relationship between amelia and klaus as algedonic. but the hybrids would never. their love brought joy, happiness, and security.

werewolf. the beasts who howl at the moon once every month. being a wolf came with a price. anger. it was all amelia had felt when she first turned. pain. every bone in her body would break and crack until her transition was complete and she was a sleek white wolf. but when there's bad, there's always good. the indescribable feeling of her paws hitting the forrest floor under the moonlight with no fear, worries or stress. it was truly euphoric.

witch. servants of nature. this was a gene all the mendoza siblings shared. the rush of power amelia felt when she took down another foe. the feeling of knowing nothing could touch her because she was too powerful. the sense of relief that came with knowing she could protect her friends and family with ease.

hybrids. klaus mikaelson and amelia mendoza were the only two of their kind. their bond grew because of their shared wolf gene and them being the only two of their kind. the two came to feel like they were the only ones who truly understood eachother, and just like that, hate turns to like which turns to love.
