Ann was now ready to jump. At this point in the story, some people who have never experienced depression, could be thinking 'well, what ever has happened, it can't be that bad'. Well they were wrong, it was 'that' bad.
From the pressures of today's ever changing society, to her moving from her home town and being the new girl at school, and her having a terrible childhood, for her, there was no other way to fight these thoughts, than to die with them...
Now bracing her self for the fall, she moved her foot more off of the roof, now with only 1 foot and a heel left stopping her from doing the unthinkable. But as she began to lean forward, she heard two voices in her head if you will. A voice telling her not to jump, that she has so much to live for, and another telling her to jump, telling her to jump because the life she is living isn't worth the suffering it causes her.
But the voices didn't really phase her, the decision to be here on the roof wasn't a one she took lightly, she had been contemplating this for months, but as things got worse, the decision got easier.
