As she moved a final step closer towards the edge of the building, she saw someone on the ground below her, the person was trying to get her attention, and it worked, then she could slightly make out the faint sound of the persons voice telling her not to jump, telling her she was too young and had so much to live for, but she ignored the pedestrian and just listened to the negative voices inside of her head.
But as the wind speed increased, she began to wobble, and she began to feel cold, she knew she just needed to get this over with, but part of her couldn't do it, her fear of heights had remained at bay until that moment when a gust of wind nearly swept her off of her feet, but as she was looking out at the city, she couldn't help but think of her near miss.
Just as she was about to jump from the roof, she heard footsteps coming up the stairs that led to the roof, she panicked, and she knew that the person coming up to the roof would try to get her down.
But as the rooftop door began to screech open, Ann turned around to see her 'dad'...
