I loved teaching English to the 10 year old kids. It was only 2 hours, but they remained interested until the end. They already knew some stuff about what is at home, but haven't learned anything about the kitchen yet. So I taught them what was a fork, knife, pan, basically everything you use to cook and eat, with pictures. On my way home I texted Stella to ask her to meet me at the park for her lunch break. We got me a SIM card after our appointment with her banker on Tuesday evening, Luka lent me his old iPhone, and everything was good for me now! I changed into something more comfy and prepared sandwiches, put them in a bag with a bottle of apple juice and brownies, and headed to the citadel. I've been thinking about something to thank Stella for the past couple days, and I figured that discussing it with a picnic under the sun couldn't be a bad idea. She joined me just a few minutes after I arrived, happily surprised. We talked about our day at work while eating, before I brought up the serious talk.

"So, I wanted to talk to you about something. At first I started looking for a job to earn money to be able to rent my own place." Her smile instantly vanished at those words. "But after thinking about it, I figured that I can't do that... I mean, I don't want to do that. Your apartment is great, and I realized that all day long I was just waiting for you to come back home. And you told me that you enjoyed having company too. So I don't want to leave your place. That's why I've been thinking of paying you a rent!" Her eyes went from normal to the size of the moon.

"What?! Are you crazy? No fucking way!" I wasn't expecting that reaction.

"But... I can't just stay there and occupy your apartment for free! That's so rude!" She laughed.

"Do you seriously think that Luka pays a rent for all the time he spends there, and the night he sleeps in my couch? And I can tell you, my place is like his second home! We just share the bill when we buy food, that's all."

"I thought it was the best I could do to thank you for hosting me and everything."

"I don't need you to thank me with money, keep that for when you really need it! If you really want to do something to thank me, you can just... be yourself. That crazy, funny and spontaneous Brendon we all love. Your simple presence already brightens my days."

"Well, I have something here to make your day even brighter..."

"OH MY GOD! How did you know I love brownies?!"

"That's not hard to guess, your cupboards are full of those!"

"You're the best!" she said, biting in the small cake. "Hey, I was wondering... If I find a good music for that, would you sing a positive hardcore Thursday?"

"Whoa, I haven't done that for so long!" I laughed. "I know a good music."

I took out my phone and thought about some lyrics. I sang "Positive hardcore Thursday!" and made my usual beautiful face, and came up with "The sun is shining and the air is hot, enjoy your brownies in this beautiful spot!" in a deep low voice. She was filming it to send it to the boys on Snapchat. And she couldn't stop laughing.

The next day, I texted Luka to ask him what was Stella's favorite restaurant. I had decided to take her out to dinner, because I really wanted to do something nice to thank her. I tried to call her on her lunch break, but heard Golden Days coming from the kitchen. She forgot her phone at home. And guess what? She had no password. Should I? Yes, totally! I started to take maybe a hundred pictures with all kind of faces, and record some funny videos of the same type as my vines. I remade the one where I sing "Today is fuck yeah Friday!" on Europe's Final Countdown, because I knew she loved it. And because it was Friday! I also recorded a few songs, playing them on the piano or the guitar. Some being serious, and some not. I was laughing with myself just thinking about how she was going to react to that. I was such a kid. I opened her gallery to group all my bullshit in a folder, and was surprised to find pictures of me sleeping. One was when I slept on her shoulder on Monday when we watched The Little Mermaid, and the other one was from the first night I got here. That was kind of creepy to discover them this way, but it was cute at the same time. I couldn't blame her, I looked adorable when I was asleep (no joke). After putting everything in a folder I named "Beebo's bullshit for when you feel sad", I changed her awful lock screen wallpaper to put a picture of me smiling. I tried to hold my laugh when she came back from work and saw it. She hadn't seen the rest yet...
