Harry's POV:
I stepped off the plane at Heathrow airport. I was exhausted, after calculating the day I had back in L.A and the ten hour flight I had just finished, I had been awake for over 25 hours, and that was counting the 5 1/2 hours I slept on the plane.
While waiting at the backage claim, I reached down to change the time on my watch. It was 5pm in London, which meant that it was already 9am in LA, my bandmates were probably getting ready to head back into the studio. Feeling my phone vibrate in his pocket, I pulled it out to find a text message from Sierra.
Good morning, kid. I know I'm texting you a little later, but I knew how tired you were lastnight. I didn't want to wake you up too early.
I replied with:
Hi kid. I'm wide awake, headed back into the studio in a bit. How are you?
Her reply:
I'm fine. Having some dinner then time for some studying. I love you. Sing your heart out for me, kid.
My reply:
I love you too, kid.
I retrieved my luggage from the conveyer belt and made my way to the nearest exit. I couldn't help but smile when I found the tall brunette waiting outside. She leaned against her car, sunglasses over her eyes, dressed in jeans and a tank top.
"Hi mum," I smiled from behind her. I had text her a couple hours ago, asking her to pick me up at the airport. She had asked why several times, but I didn't know what to tell her. Instead, I just gave her the terminal number and what time I would be there.
She turned around and smiled brightly. "Hi honey," she embraced me in a tight hug and kissed my cheek. "I missed you so much,"
"I missed you too," I took the keys from her hand and proceeded to pop open the trunk and throw my suitcase inside. I closed the trunk and handed the keys back to her. "Let's go,"
"Harry, I'm still so confused," she said, securing her seatbelt.
"Me too," I replied. I pulled the black beanie off my head and ran my fingers through my messy curls.
"What happened? Why are you back here? Did you get fired?"
"No, mum," I sighed. I wasn't really in the mood or the right frame of mind for the motherly questions. I just knew that I had to get to the bottom of whatever was going on with Sierra.
"Well, I just think it's a little odd that the last thing I heard from you was that you were headed into the shower last night, then I get a text a couple hours ago asking me to come pick you up. I think I deserve an explanation,"
"I can't give you an explanation, because I don't know all the specifics," I groggily laid my head back against the seat.
"Damnit, Harry,"
"All I know is that something is going on with Sierra, mum. I promise, when I figure it out I will tell you everything,"
"Okay," she shrugged as I reached over to the turn the radio up. She glanced over at me with a smile. "Certainly is nice to have you here," she reached over to pat my knee.
I smiled at her, then felt my cellphone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out and found a text message from Niall.
Harry, I don't know where you are or what's going on. Louis said something about how you went back home. I hope everything is okay. You need to call Todd or Jake here at the studio. They seem pretty pissed off.
