2 | Being Friends

    The next day during science class, you and Peter were sitting next to each other. You were paying attention what the teacher was saying about the project. Peter taps your shoulder and gives you a small paper. It said "sorry y/n I forgot to give you my phone number" He smiled at you and his cheeks were blushing. When class end, Peter went to his locker and Ned was there, waiting for him.

"NED! y/n is such a sweet person" as he opened his locker.
"That's nice to hear. Is she your partner for the science project"
"Ya she is so nice. I think you should meet her, Ned"
"Ya sure. Why do talk about her a lot lately?"
"I...don't know" Peter mumbled.
"Oh are you having feelings for her"
"What!"
"But don't you like Liz?"
"I do. We are just friends"

At lunch :
"Hi y/n so this this my best friend, Ned"
"Hello Ned, it's a pleasure to meet you" with a nice smile.
"Nice to meet you , y/n".
"We should hang out so we can know each other more" Ned said
"Ya sure anytime"
"Since your a bit busy now, see you later"
"Oh I can't cuz I have to take care of my little sister, Ruby"
"Oh it's okay"
"Wait we can do the project at my house I will just as my mom okay. I will wait for you at my locker"
"Sure" and Peter smiled.

"I see you Peter" Ned said with a smirky face as they walked away.
"We are friends, Ned"
"Oh Peter trying to get y/n's heart I see" Flash said
"You don't know what is going on okay"  Ned said
"She will be mine you will see" Flash said as he pointed at Peter and left to be with his friends.

Meanwhile you were with your friends and having a nice time.
"Yoo have you guys heard homecoming is in a few months" Lily said
"Really no way, I forgot about it" Nancy said
"That's cool we all should go. We need a break from all this work" Karla said
"So true and we can but our dresses together" you said in a excited way. Peter looked at you. You kinda got nervous and waved at him.

A few hours went by like papers flying on a windy day. You get out of your class and go leave some of your books to your locker.
"Hello y/n, lovely to see you" Flash said
"What do you want"
"I want you to be mine" Flash said as he was getting closer to you
"Back off and never okay" you said as you pushed him
"Why not? Is it cuz of Peter"
Soon Peter came and was confused.
"what was going on"
"Hi Peter, oh nothing. Let's go, I have nothing to do here" you said as you grabbed his hand
"Okay sure..."
"Oh y/n, we will finish later"
"Fuck off" you said
"Oh so what did your mom say?" Peter asked
"They said it's okay as long as I do some chores"
"That's fine with me. Can I help you with them"
"ya thanks"

*Time Skip*

Soon you guys walked to your house and went inside. And you knew your mom wasn't going to come home because she had to stay a bit late.
" Y/N, Y/N hi sis!!" You carried your sister meanwhile you were spinning her around. She has pigtails and she loves the color pink.

"Hi Ruby, I know you missed me"
"I did and who is this person sis?"
"Hi I am Peter, Peter Parker"
"Nice to meet you Peter, my name is Ruby "
"Aww she is cute, y/n. Why does she have green eyes"
"I don't know but I love her" you mumble
"y/n, I won't bother you and your friend okay " she said as she went running back to the sofa to watch tv and her pigtails went side to side.

Later, you and Peter tried finishing the project. You guys had a nice time as always.
"Oh no, I have start my chores until my mom comes back"
"Okay so let's get working"
"Thanks Peter " and you hugged him for the first time.

     Peter hugged you back and he felt so happy. You guys start doing the chores and Ruby is singing to the songs on the radio. You starting singing along with Ruby. "Come on Peter join us" Ruby said as she jumped for joy. Peter starting singing along and soon it becomes like a mini party. You dance with your sister and then she gets Peter's hands "Peter dance with my sis" with a smile. Soon you guys dance and it was magical. You guys looked into each other's eyes. His eyes were so sparkly.

Peter's POV: She is so
pretty. Her eyes are so beautiful. I can't believe I met should a pretty girl. I think I have a crush on her

"Aww you guys are so cute"
"Ruby, why" you laughed. Peter laughed as well. When you finished the chores
"Thanks Peter, I had a nice time with you"
"Same. I got to go or my Aunt May will get worried"
"It okay see you tomorrow then. Bye Peter" you hugged him. He hugged you back "Bye, y/n "

     You slowly closed the door, trying to see Peter leave at the distance.
"He is such a cool friend. He is better than Al-"
"I know Ruby" and a tear falls down.
"I am sorry sis, I shouldn't say that" "It's okay it's the past " hugging her.

I hope he doesn't come back...please
