"I'm attracted to your spirit
That ass is just an addition
I'm M.J, you're Scottie Pippen
No bullshit we stay winning
I feel the vibes
In the middle of your tide I'm driftin'
Fingers all in your hair, runnin' deeper than the pacific
If I'm the socket, you're the plug
I'm the addict, you're the drug
You're a real one, they're a dub
I ain't playin girl this could be us"

"So you were never going to tell me that Corbin is the father of Mya? You got me raising another niggas baby!?" Rod said angrily. He was pacing back and forth.

"I didn't think it was a big deal. You were taking care of her way more than Corbin ever was. She loves you and you love her, what's the problem?"

"She's not my kid and you sat here and lied about it for this long. What the fuck" he ran his hands down his face. He couldn't believe what he was hearing right now. "I love Mya, I'm gonna keep being her father regardless. I'm getting full custody, I don't need that nigga trying to start some shit by trying to come and take her from the only family she knows."

Anais sat there and watched as Rod and Amoura argued about Corbin. She felt relieved that he knew but also bad that she wasn't the one to tell him. This was the first time Amoura has seen Mya in months. They weren't even sure Mya knew who she was anymore.

"That's fine, I don't really care. That's not why I'm here. I'm in some financial troubles, can you loan me some money?"

"How much Amoura?" Jahrod asked annoyed.

"Five grand"

"Five who? Yeah no. Bye Amoura" Jahrod responded.

"You're not gonna help me? Really? After all we've been through? Whatever" Amoura said as she gathered her things to leave. Rod ignored her and sat on the couch with his head laid back.

Anais stood back while she looked at Jahrod. He looked annoyed, the first time they'd seen Amoura in months and this is what she does. They didn't want to take Mya away from her but it wasn't healthy for her to have an unstable parent.

"Man, I'm sick of dealing with her shit." Jahrod said throwing his head back. Anais made her way beside him, and laid her head on his lap. She looked up at him, as he looked down at her. He smirked at her and stroked her hair.

They've been together a little over a year now. Nothing but happiness has gone on since Corbin left after he got out of jail. Anais hasn't heard from Dom since their talk and neither has Ta'lia. She hoped he was okay but his last few words to her left her feeling uneasy.

Chloe and Quanie moved to California to be closer with Quanies family. They were having so much trouble with her getting pregnant they felt they should change their scenery to see if it'll help them a little more. Anais missed her like crazy but knew that they had to do what was best for their family.

Tyra and James were still trying to figure things out. James learned that she does have a sweet side to her, it's just hidden under a lot of pain. After their long time friend Russ moved to town, she became a lot easier to deal with.

"What ya thinking about?" Anais asked.

"Everything. We have so much going on. Cam is acting a damn fool and my dad couldn't care less. Amoura always has bullshit going on. Ta'lia has to talked to Dom in months. If my momma was here she'd know what to do and say. She always did"

Cam had been showing out so much since their mother died. He didn't cry at the funeral so Anais took it as his way of grieving, so she wasn't as hard on him as Rod was. Cam's birth mother died due to drugs when he was a baby and the only real mother he ever really died too. She knew that was killing him. But he was staying out late, popping pills, hanging with the wrong people and Rod even thinks he's dealing. Jahrod's father was still grieving so he didn't pay much attention to anything that was going on anymore.

"We go through a lot of shit, but you know what ? We always get through it. I'm not sure how but we  always do" Anais said as she stroked Rod's beard.

Just then there was a knock at the door. Anais popped up to see who it was and Rod slowly followed behind her. When she opened the door she squealed in excitement and Rod's jaw tightened as he stared at him.

"Austin! It's been so long!"
