"I can't say anything to Issy about him. We've been doing good on staying out of the mix, she's gonna lose her shit if she finds out about Austin." Rod explained to James. They were in the garrage playing pool while Anais and Tyra made up for lost time with Austin.

"So what? We gotta sit back and act cool about him? You know that nigga." James said annoyed.

"Yeah nigga I know but until he poses a threat to us and the girls we let that shit slide. Ain't no point in starting some shit for no reason. And besides Anais and Tyra don't know him the way we know him." Rod explained.

"He got one wrong move, then it's a done deal. We should've been offed him."

"We had way too much shit going on to off him. Shawn had just killed Ronye and the police were all over that. Then the shit with Corbin happened, it would've been too hot. Just chill, he gone get his soon enough. I just wish Issy didn't know him" Rod said.

"How they even know him?" James questioned as he positioned his pool stick.

"School, he came their senior year, I guess. Remember when he got kicked out and moved? Yeah that's where he went"

"It's crazy. He was really our brother then he turned on us. Shit is grimey." James said letting out a sigh.

When Austin switched up on them it really hurt them. It was always Rod, Tobias, James and Austin. But Austin met new people, people who didn't have his best interest in mind, causing him to stray away from his long time friends, who soon became enemies.

"He hasn't spoke to me for real. Just a nod, which is okay for Anais' sake." Jahrod explained.

"Fuck that nigga." James said hitting a ball into a pocket. "How you feel about that Russ nigga?"

"He's cool. Why?"

"I dunno. I don't like how him and Tyra are." James admitted.

"That's like their brother and besides, he has a kid with Chloe's sister. I don't feel like there's anything to worry about" Rod said honestly.

"Yeah I know that, but when I see how they are with each other or hear stories about their past it doesn't sit right with me." James shook his head and heaved again the wall.

"Look, Tyra isn't the easiest person to get to know. He's known her for years and you're still trying to get to know her, maybe that's why you feel that way."

"Maybe" James said plainly.

Just then Anais walked into the garage. She waltzed over to Rod and planted a kiss on his cheek. He pulled her into a hug and looked down at her.

"What's going on?" He asked her.

"Nothing, dinner is ready though. I'm not sure if you guys are hungry or not."

"Yeah I am, we'll be out there in a few." Rod responded as he slapped her ass.

"Grab Mya too" Anais said as she walked away.
