Scarlett's P.O.V

"Scarlett honey, wake up" I heard my mum whispering, whilst shaking me. "We're here"

I groan, and stretch my arms as much as I can, in the small amount of space I have.

When we got off the plane, we collected our luggage, and ordered a taxi to take us to our new house.

The drive to my new house takes around 20 minutes.

On the way I realised how much I had missed this place. All the parks, lakes, places to go with your friends. I'm so glad to finally be back.

When we got to our house, I saw two girls standing outside. I had to focus on them for a few seconds, to recognise who they are.

Then the realisation hit me.

They were my best friends.

How could I not recognise them at first? They have changed so much.

Phoebe was one of the most popular girls in our town. She has bright blue eyes, and dark brunette hair. She has such great fashion sense, any time she could, she would always try and persuade Adelle and I to have makeovers.

Adelle, she is the shy one. Well shy around new people anyway, when us three are all together it's like world war 2, all over again. We are quite crazy. Her hair is like a dirty blonde, with a tint of brown, and she has light green eyes.

They are both absolutely gorgeous, and they don't even try to be.

I squeal, and run out of the car to accompany my friends, who were standing with their backs to me. As soon as they saw me running towards them, they embraced me in a tight hug.

Then I saw who was behind them.

Luke Brooks.

The one and fucking only.

"Anyway, are you coming?" I asked the girls. They nodded, and followed me through the door.

....

A few hours later, I had unpacked everything, and the girls and I decided to go out for the night.

When we got to the party, everybody was drunk. Literally.

It wouldn't hurt to have one drink, would it?

One drink went to two, and two went to 5, and 5 went to getting completely and utterly smashed.

I was dancing, and having a great time with my two best friends. Untill I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw who it was...

It was him, again.

Luke.

"Um sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you" I smiled.

"Oh it's okay, erm hi" I replied.

He looked confused.

"Hey?" Does he remember me? It would be totally awkward if not. "Do I know you? You seem... Familiar..?"

Oh god. He doesn't remember me.

Maybe that's a good thing though? I mean he doesn't remember what he done to me.

"I don't think so. Anyway I gotta go, bye"

I turned in my heel, and hurried towards my friends.

I had a thought.

He doesn't remember me. Everything that happened. He doesn't remember that we hated one another.

All I could think of was payback.

(It's probably like really bad, but hey, first book remember?;)

I really do hope you like it though, if you could like share my book, so I could get some more reads I would be entirely grateful. Thankyou).
