Chapter Twenty-nine

Scarlett's P.O.V

After dinner, Luke and I go for a little walk, as we have nothing better to do.

Its boiling, so we do what normal people would do ,and decide on meeting everyone at the beach. I need to tan anyway.

Currently, Luke and Beau are in the sea, Jai, James and Daniel are burying each other in the sand, which is what they call 'annoying sand head', and that leaves Phoebe Adelle and myself, sun bathing on our chairs.

Not exactly what I would call comfy, but it's decent enough.

"So, why have you been avoiding us?" I finally ask Adelle.

"I haven't" she simply replies, shrugging her shoulders.

I shake my head at her, put my shades back on, and return to my sunbathing.

"We haven't finished this conversation" I warn her, and she sighs.

"OK, well, I am going in the sea, feel free to join me" Phoebe suggests.

I feel in the mood for a swim, so I follow her in, throwing my shades into my bag beside my phone, as does Adelle .

As I get into the sea I feel the freezing cold water, and instantly regret my decision. I still walk deeper in, until I am at waist length with Beau, Luke and the girls.

"Hi" He says, putting his arms around my waist, and pulling me closer to him.

"Hi" I reply. I'm completely mezmorized by his eyes, I've never been in a trance, but this sure as hell feels like one.

Before I know it, I am lifted in the air and thrown into the sea. Well, that must have been a hell of a trance if I didn't even realize what he was doing.

I start panicking, and kicking my legs as fast as I can. When my lungs feel like they are about to burst, I come up from out of the sea, breathless. Luke wraps his arms back around my stomach, and kisses my shoulder lightly.

"I like you wet, baby" he whispers seductively into my ear.

I gasp, how can just 5 words make my insides feel like they are melting.

I pretend I am not affected by his words, and turn around to slash him with as much of the freezing water possible.

He stands there patiently for a while, until I am finsined.

"Done yet princess?" He asks.

I stifle a giggle, and nod whilst biting my lip.

"I like it when you bite your lip, especially when you're wet like this. It's very hot, Scarlett"

Fuck my life. He knows how to swoon a girl, I'll tell you that.

He smirks at me, before getting revenge and splashing me back.

I scream and move my legs as fast as I can, to get away from the idiot I call my boyfriend.

Soon enough I am back onto the boiling hot sand, which horribly sticks to my feet every time I take a single step. I make my way back to our chairs, and slump myself down on one, almost completely out of breath.

I haven't even been here half a minute before Luke sits down beside me, nearly as breathless as i am, but not quite.

Once I notice his back, I can't help but let out a few giggles, followed by full on laughing.

"Care to share your amusement?"

"Y-you have a p-penis on your b-back" I tell him, inbetween my laughter, trying to calm myself down.

'Fuck Beau, fucking prick" he mutters "he's dead"

I carry on laughing, "Looks like you can't show off your hot body to the ladies anymore, aw shame" I tease him.

"Doesn't bother me baby, means you have me all to yourself" he smirks his signature smirk.

I smile at his response.

"So you think I have a hot body?"

Great, I've boosted his ego. He won't be able to get his head through the door later.

"Yes" I whisper, as I feel my cheeks heat up.

"Mmm." He hums, and pulls be tight against him, feeling up and down my body.

"Your body is more than hot, baby" he whispers, once again making my insides melt.

He slamps my bum, and runs in the direction of the toilet, leaving me hanging.
