NAJ PJ x Reader

A date?

...This took too long...

I stood up from the bleachers and started walking towards Cross' class. Pretty soon PJ was trying to catch up with me. "(Y/N), I'm sorry for not talking much. I- I just was so mad at that idiot." PJ whispered into my ear with his arms around me from behind as he nodded towards that shirtless,flirtatious skeleton. I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks. I could only hum my response, he understood and let go of me. I could feel the missing warmth already.

We went through the first three periods like normal, spar with PJ, learn more monster history, listen to Dream about astrology, and now it's time for lunch. Lunch is unbelievably  unpredictable. I walked through the doors with PJ, that's the only normal thing, we walked over to the lunch line and got our food with a greeting towards Sans and Grillby. We walked over to the table with Cil at it, once we sat down that flirt, SwapFell Sans, walked up behind me without PJ noticing and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Oh, come on! (Y/N), go on a date with me~." He cooed into my ear. I yelped and PJ started glaring daggers at him while I tried swatting his arms away. "Get off of her you idiot." Cil spoke up. "Yeah, get off. Didn't I say that earlier?" A familiar voice called out. We all turned to the source of the voice, it was C. As soon as that idiot landed eyes on them, he got off and walked away as C smacked him on the back of the head looking at me with a smile. I awkwardly smiled back as PJ pulled me back into a conversation, "Are you okay?" He asked with worry coating his every word. "Oh, PJ, I'm fine." I said trying to reassure him. He gave me a worried look before he smiled."(Y/N), I want to talk to you after school." He said with utter excitement and confidence. I agreed even though I was slightly confused. I looked over to Cil who was smirking and wiggling her skele-brows. I started to blush really bad and just ate.

I went through the rest of the day with one question in my mind, what is it that PJ wants to talk about? My mind was so caught in the question that my science partner, Horror, needed to snap me out of my thoughts to ensure us not getting in trouble.

I told Dream and Cross that I needed to do something before we left for home. I started to run over to the gym. I skidded to a stop in front of the doors, I took a deep breath before slowly opening the door. I saw PJ talking to Error, Fell saw me in the door way and called me out. PJ looked over at me and shooed him away as he walked over to me, I think I saw Error give me a thumbs up and smile. "Hey, so the thing I wanted to saw was do you want to go on a date with me?" PJ asked with a smile as he scratched the back of his neck.

I'm so sorry for how long this took! I wanted to branch out to other fandoms and started another x reader, I accidentally made it really long because I've had a 'small' crush on them for a really long time. I also had to deal with summer and heat. Plus I've got life and other stories in mind, I hope that you enjoy this story and maybe even look at the other ones I plan on resuming and starting.And I'd like to thank you for the nice comments on my art!
