Breakups and Reconciliations

I get in my classroom nervously. I don't know if I'll be able to pass these exams.

Although I'm already employed but who said that I'll stay there forever!

-"Don't worry, you worked hard enough for this day!" Namjoon tries cheering me up.

-"Thank you." I smile.

I wish him goodbye then get off the car.

Most of the students are carrying books.

Sheesh.. everyone is studying at the last minute.

-"Hello, Hee Young!" It's Nam Si Joo, her smile gives me an unpleasant feeling..

What a good event to begin with the first day of the midterm exams!

-"Good luck."

-"Yeah.."

When the exam sheet is handed I realize that I've seen all of the exercises with Taehyung previously.

I search for an empty place in the cafeteria. My eyes meet with Taehyung's.

-"Come here!"

I rush to the seat in front of him.

-"How were your exams?"

-"I did well, all thanks to you." I smile at him.

-"Good job, I know you'll have great results. You were the one who undrstood everything so quickly.." He blushes.

One week later:

-"Your results are out!" My mother screams.

-"Really?!"

I put on my shoes and rush to school.

Many students were gathered around the board. I have to jump to see if my name is on the list.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! I MADE IT!

I run towards Taehyung's house but meet Si Joo in the corridor.

-"Congrats." She smiles.

-"You too."

I continue running until I bum into Taehyung in person.

-"Oh, here you are!"

-"I was waiting for you." He smiles.

-"I.. I was the tenth on the list."

-"I saw that. Well done, my Hee Young." He carresses my hair.

I look at him surprisingly I feel my cheeks burning.

-"You're cute everyday..." He smiles and puts his two hands on my cheeks.

My heart..

I cant..

-"...even though, I'll have to leave you."

My heart breaks at the time he pronounces the last word.

-"Why?" I say between two sobs.

-"The entertainement company.. because of them I should go to Seoul. But, I won't be able to return here too much."

I can't say a word I just stand like a sculpture in front of Taehyung who's getting wet eyes.

-"I hope.. I hope you lead a happy life." Taehyung starts crying, his red face made me feel so bad.

"Let's call it a bad ending."

I walk in the street blankly. Life has lost its colour ever since Taehyung left.

I couldn't reach Namjoon as well, and Hoseok already left our home.

I hear my phone ringing.

EunHee is calling.

I answer the call and hear EunHee's voice.

-"Can we meet up?"

-"Where?"

-"Our park."

There was that park beside her place, we called it 'our' park since we were the only ones to use it.

I arrive and see EunHee waving while she is sitting on a bench.

-"Long time no see."

-"Because of your Mr.Jungkook."

-"Ah, well, I'm sorry. I was so blinded by love."

-"Uhm.."

I just realized how much 'love' was of a monster. I trully hate this word...

-"I miss the time we spent with each other.."

-"Stop being so cheesy.."

She finally looks at me and laughs.

-"Oh! Why is your face so red? Did.. you cry?"

She gets closer.

-"Uhm.."

She hugs me and I recall old memories, I feel like I'm in my mother's arms. That's why Eun Hee is so special.

I start crying and keep on crying and crying unyil I feel like my eyes we'll get out from their orbits.

-"I'm here now.. It's alright."
