Chapter 5

*Aubrey*

Chandler walks up to us and pulls me into this huge hug and kisses my head. "Hey babe I missed you! Who's this?" He said referring to Jason. "Chandler we aren't together and this is my boyfriend Jason." His jaw tightened and he said, "New boyfriend huh? Don't worry sweety you'll be missing me soon enough." He winked and left the yogurt shop. I looked at Jason and weakly smiled. "So that's the jerk that hurt you? I should have punched him hard in the face." "Sadly that's the famous Chandler. Now he found me great." Jason smiled and said, "Aubrey if you think I'm letting him get near you then you're crazy. He's a tool. He thinks he's slick. I mean you can stay with me or I can stay with you if it will make you feel better." I honestly am falling for this guy. Oh my goodness. We ate our yogurt and went home. He walked me in and I saw that my mom left a note. It read:

"Bree,

We won't be home for a couple days. Be good and no parties. I will find out because you aren't good at cleaning them up. I love you.

By the way here's a $60 for pizza"

She's the best. Pizza is just my favorite food when I'm alone. I look at Jason and say, "So would you like to come in and stay with me?" He smiled and said, "Of course."

*Jason*

If you think I'm leaving her alone especially by herself you're crazy. That guy looked so familiar. He really needs to leave her alone. Okay let's just take a moment. Aubrey said I was her boyfriend. BOYFRIEND. I haven't asked her yet but lord knows I want to. I've been waiting for the right time. Maybe this is my chance. Maybe I was suppose to stay with her because she's suppose to be my girlfriend. Look at me. What am I thinking? She probably said that out of fear. I should at least say how I feel. I'm falling for her. I really like her. She grabs my hand snapping me out of my thoughts. We sit on the couch and watch a scary movie on Netflixs. She cuddles into me and starts to dose off. I kiss her head and whisper to her, "Aubrey I really like you." When the movies over and she's asleep I carry her up to her room. I set her in her bed and put her under the covers. As I leave to go down stairs to sleep on the couch she grabs my hand and says in a quiet voice, "Jason please don't leave me." I lay down next to her and say, "I'm not going anywhere." Just as I think she's asleep she whispers to me, "Jason I really like you too." I smile and pull her towards me and fall asleep next to her.

I wake up to find Jason and I cuddling. I look at him and think to myself, 'Wow this guy is so cute.' When Jason said he really liked me I couldn't help but blush. I wish we were dating. I'm going to tell him how I feel.
