But Still Friends

Silence.. all that was left between them both. You look to Rai, then to the man you now know as Muzuka, and back again to Rai. You are not sure but the atmosphere seems... tense. It's so thick you can barely breathe! 'But.. aren't they close friends??' Muzuka put his hands in his pockets and sighed. "Wow... I had no idea. Their scent.. it's the same! But then why is it the same?" You look back at Raizel, his expression unreadable as he stares at the man across from him. "..That is uncertain.." Rai held your hand in his, still cautious of Muzuka. The said man raised his hands in protest. "Relax, Raizel! I'm on my best behavior for now..." He then grinned. "Besides! I only held back because I thought (Y/n) was alive! But.. I guess it wasn't true.." You shivered as the air cooled, his words causing your jaw to drop. "That means I can kill more humans then with less guilt." What? What did he say?! "Its nothing against you personally. I just have to do it."

 Both men look to you in shock as you stepped up to him. Your not sure, but it just feels like your heart has broken in two. "Do you honestly mean that?" Hurt plastered across your face, shocking the werewolf in front of you. In a flash, your face hardened, fist clenched as you turned at stomped away. " I wont let you.."

You huffed as you sat down at a fountains edge. "(Y/n).." You threw your hands up in frustration. "I cant believe it! I thought you two where friends!?" The tension was so awful! Raizel sighed and sat next to you. "Your ancestor always hated when we had a disagreement. However..." You turned to him, a hint of a smile showed on his face. "This is the first time ANYONE has stood up to him besides his daughter." Your eyebrows rose in surprise. "He has a daughter?!" Raizel's smile fell as he looked up at the night sky. "Yes. SHe was half werewolf and half human.. She.. was killed by human beings." You looked down, feeling upset at the information. Rai hand was over yours. You looked up to him, tears begining to form in your eyes. "Let me take you home.."

After a stroll and a kiss goodbye, you went inside your house and took a warm shower. You dry off and put on your (favorite) PJs. Sighing, you walked out of the bathroom and froze. The figure leaned back on your windowsill, a fanged grin spreads on his face. "Hey (Y/n)." You wanted to move, you wanted to run. But you dont seem to have any fear.. Muzuka sighed and waved his clawed hand. "I'm not gonna hurt you or anything. I'd rather NOT have Rai after me. But it seems like you already knew that." He nodded his head at you. "Nice PJs, (Y/n)." You huffed and sat down on your bed. "Shut up.. Why are you here anyway?" He chuckled at your pouting form. "I see you got a mouth on ya! Hmm.. well." He let out a breath, running his hand through his hair. "Don't know.. Maybe I just can't accept the fact you're not her. Or.." You looked at him as he stared at the half crested moon. "Maybe I can't shake the happiness I feel when I saw you. You were like my second daughter.. it helped with the pain." You looked down, remembering what Raizel told you. "Muzuka.." you looked back at his form. "Those people deserve a slow painful death for what they did. Humans are always afraid of something different.. something that we can't understand. And that fear tends to have horrible consequences.." you suddenly stood and walked to him, his brows raise as you sat down next to him. "I've bet youve heard of 'not all humans are like that' and other bullshit, but going to do what you say..what good will it do?" A comforting silence fell as you both looked at the moon being covered by clouds. You flinched at a hand patting your head. A flash of light blinds you a bit before it disappears, along with Muzuka.
