Dallin and Hanna weren't having any better luck. Their parents argued that they barely know Sam, and so if they were going, it would be when they are older, and knew Sam better. So, they concluded that if they didn't come up with something clever, then they wouldn't get to go on the journey to find Mr. Mysteryvoice.
Sam had an idea. He could get Hanna to call her, and when he puts the phone down he will say that that was his scout leader that was taking everyone backpacking. His parents would then let him go with Hanna and Dallin to find Mr. Mysteryvoice.
He explained his plan to his friends, and they thought that if they couldn't come up something better, then if that would work even though Hanna and Dallin hated lying to their mom and dad.
Run away with your supplies tomorrow night, and I will make sure that nobody will notice your away because I will make them believe that you are still there. Just like I made you believe you had a conversation with me. Then Sam woke up.
Sam related the dream to Dallin and Hanna
Hanna had a dream explaining how to use our powers. You just think about what you want to happen, and then if you have a good reason then the weather usually complies. Ironically as soon as Sam asked if any of them had a guess when the first people-changers, hightgoofers, or mind bogglers (whatever those things are) would attack them, Dallin said it felt like he was 20 feet up in the sky with no railing. Hanna guessed that a hightgoofer was messing with them to get to Mr. Mysteryvoice first. Dallin reported it was difficult to walk because it felt like he would fall. Sam felt the same now that Dallin mentioned it. Same with Hanna.
“Weaklings! Now we will overtake your head-interferer friend.” yelled a person with red and purple paint on his or her face. The paint made it hard to tell if the person was a boy or girl. The voice didn't give anything away either.
“But the sky is where all of our power is, so here's a lightning bolt!” Hanna shot back at him as she forced a bolt of lightning at the figure. As the figure got panicky, it felt like they were back on normal ground again.
“There's the ginormous tree stump.” announced Sam as it was getting dark. “Let's set up are tents on the stump. It would make a nice place for camp.”
