Mindy read the letter out loud.

Dear children,

Welcome to the Central, where the doors to all the worlds are. If you want to go to a different world but don't know where the door to that world is, come here, you will find what you seek. Currently, you are located at the north, the very tip of the Central.

Worlds? As in, plural?

This house that you are in was specially prepared for the four of you. There should be enough supplies for your journey ahead.

You're probably wondering why all of you are here.

Well, I have travelled all around the world and through the different worlds

Worlds, again. What exactly does he mean by that?

and I have picked you four to come together and embark on a journey nobody has ever gone before.

Why did I pick you? All of you possess gifts that nobody else has, but what exactly they are, you have to find out yourself, it's part of your training.

We all groaned audibly. Marcus muttered something under his breath that sounded something like: "Great, more things to find out. What was he thinking? Oh, I'm just going to plop four teenagers in some mysterious land and make them figure out everything. Oh, I'm also going leave a letter that explains nothing..."

The worlds are in mortal danger and I need your help. Richard Oliver Underwood, more commonly known as anima comedentis, the most feared being amongst us, is planning on taking over the world with his dark forces, and you four are the only ones that can stop him.

"Why us four, are we that special? Can't they get people more qualified for this?" Marcus voiced my thoughts.

I know this is a lot to take in, but try. This place is the safest place to be in, as of right now, until Richard takes over it as well.

Get to know each other better while you stay here, your friendships will take you a long way. Leave here by the next week, we still don't know how strong he is but he is getting stronger and will soon take control of all the worlds.

All of you might want to train yourselves both physically and mentally, it will help in the long run.

Remember: Help comes to those who really deserve it.

"An adventure, sounds fun." Nathan commented. "I'm not sure if you were listening, but "dark forces" and "worlds". I don't know about you but everything about those words give me a bad feeling." Mindy said. "Well, we should try to figure out our "gifts" before we do anything. I think we already know Marcus'." I told them. "We do?" Marcus exclaimed, eyes wide. I looked at him in disbelief. "Oh I don't know. Maybe because you were invisible not too long ago?"

Obviously, not the smartest amongst us.

He furrowed his eyebrows and scratched his head. "Oh... But what are y'all's?"

"That's the problem, we don't know."
