Dear Sun,
Um...hi?Listen, you probably don't want to talk to me, and I understand completely. I get it. However you are all I could think of, you're the only person I feel will truly listen. I would ask the other stars, but no of them shine as bright as you. I just feel lost, Sun. Like I have nowhere to go; no purpose.
Earth has people, and water, and trees, and animals. Mercury is close to you, making it the hottest. Venus would have been like Earth, she is fascinating beyond belief. Mars is red, a change from the blues and browns of the rest of us. Jupiter has storms and many moons. Saturn has it's rings, Uranus its tilted rotation and Neptune its milky color.
I was once like them, one of the planets, but even that was ripped away from me. People and stars and comets, and even debris, see you guys as gods. Forces to be reckoned with, but I, Pluto, am nothing but "the small one" or "the far one" or simply, "Dwarf".
What ever shall I do Sun? You keep us together, yet I feel as if though our bond is crumbling. As if our time is being cut short. There is an unbalance between the ten of us. Do you feel it too? Like a shift of weight in a chair the hangs off of the edge of the cliff. Or is it just me? Is the unbalance me? Do I really not belong? Oh, Sun, whatever shall I do?
Sincerely,
Pluto.
A/N: Hey dudes. So uh, this a thing that I've been kinda working on for a bit, and most of it is based off of something that happened to me, so if you're wondering, I'm Pluto, The Sun is an ex-friend, and the stars are my new friends. Writing about this experience like this really helped me through a tough time so I hope you enjoy it :) ~Abby
