I waited the while night to see how Caroline was doing. Liz insisted for me to go home as if I was torn about my dad's death. Wrong. I didn't know how to feel and people looked at me weird as if they were expecting me to cry. But the most horrible part is that I actually felt relieved that this man wouldn't be in my life anymore.

Tyler had gone to see our mother and try to comfort her over her husband's death and now I was starving as I was waiting for my snack bar to fall through the machine. I watched as it was slowly pushed out but stopped midway. And there goes two precious dollars. I kneeled down and tried to stick my hand through to grab it but couldn't. I kicked it in frustration, "Ugh."

"Let me help you." A male voice said, I turned to see a leather jacket wearing, raven haired hot guy with piercing blue eyes. He glanced at me before slightly pushing the machine, making it shake then the snack bar falls out, he grabbed it and handed it to me. I looked at him, surprised.

"Thanks." I smiled at him thankfully, "Am I just that weak or are you just that strong?" I asked, opening the packet of my snack bar and munching on it as I waited for an answer.

He shrugged, smirking. "I'm just that strong." he replied. I chuckled. He stared at me for a moment, "You must be the famous Robyn Lockwood. I'm Damon. Damon Salvatore." he said, holding out his hand.

Why the hell am I all of a sudden not nervous? Especially around a hot guy like him. It's just that I weirdly feel comfortable enough to act like myself.

I raised an eyebrow at him, snorting lightly in disbelief as I pushed my glasses up my nose. "Famous? Yeah right. If I was famous I would have a lot more friends. But no one wants to be friends with the weird sarcastic girl." I said, rolling my eyes. I looked to see him staring at me intently, "I'm rambling aren't I?" I blushed.

He chuckled, shaking his head. "No. It's just that you do seem like a pretty nice person. Sarcastic in check. Also, I heard about your dad. The mayor.." he trailed off.

I gulped hardly, taking another bite of my snack bar, "Oh. That. You know what? I don't really feel like talking about it." I said, shaking my head.

He opened his mouth to respond until his attention averted to behind me, I turned my head to see Elena walking right towards us. She took a protective stand next to me as she glared at Damon through her eyes. "What's going on, Damon?" she asked, crossing her arms.

"Nothing, Elena." Damon responded as he looked at her. It was clear to see the admiration and love he had for her in his icy blue eyes.

"Robyn, are you okay?" Elena turned her attention to me.

"I'm fine." I said, "If only you had asked that or helped me when I was hurt and you were at the car crash. Seriously, Elena? You want to be friends and you can't even do that." I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"The car crash? I wasn't there." Elena told me, looking at me confused.

I raised my eyebrows, laughing bitterly. "Don't lie to make yourself seem oh so innocent. I saw you there and you called me 'Natalia' I mean, who the hell is that? Or did you forget my name?" I exclaimed.

Elena frowned, "Robyn, I swear I wasn't there. I don't know who Natalia is, okay? And if I was at the car crash I would have helped you." she assured me, furrowing her brows.

"So what? You happen to have so bitchy twin around here somewhere?" I questioned, raising a mocking eyebrow as I crossed my arms staring at her.
