JaeHee stuck her tool into the keyhole, turning it a couple of times. The lock on the window unlocked without a sound. JaeHee then put away her tools and pushed the window open.

Empty.

Seung Hyun. He wasn't there. JaeHee looked at her watch.

9pm and he's not back yet?! I'm sure the tracker on his phone is working. Fuck...

JaeHee pulled out her phone and checked Seung Hyun's location.

20 meters from dropped pin.

The screen read. She started to panic.

Why hadn't the alarm sounded off?! I'm very sure I set it to sound off when Seung Hyun was 1 kilometer from the dropped pin.

JaeHee didn't have much time to panic. She had to think of something fast. She had to...

Aish...

The sound of the door being pushed open and the voice of the victim sounded from the entrance. JaeHee cursed internally before jumping through the window, into the balcony.

She watched from the open window. Seung Hyun flopped onto his bed and started ruffling his hair. He was grumbling on and on to himself about how tired he is. JaeHee chuckled softly.

Still so cute after all these years...

She smiled to herself at that thought. She continued watching Seung Hyun's every move. Once she saw Seung Hyun head to the bathroom and the sound of water pouring down, she took the opportunity to silently close the window until there was only a small gap. Fully closing it would cause the window to automatically lock itself again.

She sat outside, in the corner of the balcony, out in the cold for about an hour. She was starving. But she couldn't leave until she got her job done. And even if she were to leave now, she didn't have money to get food. The money she stole from Seung Hyun the last time had been spent on paying rents, leaving none for buying food.

JaeHee peeked in again. She saw Seung Hyun laying in bed holding his phone. He seemed like he was texting someone. JaeHee shrugged and turned away, continuing her endless wait.

It was about 45 minutes later. JaeHee peeked in and Seung Hyun was fast asleep. JaeHee knew Seung Hyun's sleeping habits from young. If he was laying on his right side with his right arm tucked under his pillow and his left arm in front of his chest, it signalled that he is about to fall into deep sleep.

On top of that, the chef should have done a good job as well. JaeHee knew Seung Hyun too well. Nothing can stop him from eating his favourite food. Not even drugs or poison.

Why does he not taste the powder?! It doesn't go well with the noodles that he ordered in the restaurant just now. How can he just eat it?! The mild poison added in his udon from earlier on tasted like shit! How does he not realise it?!

JaeHee thought to herself. She took a deep breath.

No... I need money... I need to get the job done...

She frowned and took another look at Seung Hyun. The drug seemed to work well. He hasn't moved an inch since 30 minutes ago. JaeHee took another deep breath and pulled the window open once again. She carefully stepped inside and closed the window the same way she did a while ago.

She looked around the hotel room. Phone beside his bed, wallet on top of his sling bag. JaeHee bit her lip and pulled out the device from her little haversack that she brought.

She tiptoed over to Seung Hyun's side and turned his phone on. Still the same. No password. JaeHee synced the device to his phone and started the download. While the device was still receiving data from his phone, she went over to the other table where his wallet was. There wasn't any cash left, but there was clearly a usable credit card in it. JaeHee slipped the card out of his wallet carefully and placed the wallet back to its original position.

She turned to look at Seung Hyun.

I'm very sorry oppa...

She whispered before picking up her device which has fully loaded. She made sure to clear up any traces from his phone. As soon as she turned to leave,

Hyung.

A voice sounded from the door. JaeHee gritted her teeth and leaped out of the window, landing heavily onto the balcony floor.

What was that?!

JiYong exclaimed. He was startled at the sudden thump from outside. He made the right turn and ran over to Seung Hyun who was still laying peacefully on his bed.

JaeHee bit her lips and counted down from three in her heart. Once her countdown was over, she slammed the window shut and swung herself to the next balcony to her left, before continuing the rest of her escape in parkour mode.

Hyung!

JiYong yelled as he shook Seung Hyun's unresponsive body. JiYong sighed and sat down beside Seung Hyun on the bed. JiYong scanned the room around, trying to figure out how there was a sudden thump then the slamming of the window.

He looked around until something shiny caught his eye. He stood up and picked up the item on the floor.

A... Ring?

He mumbled as he inspected the ring that seemed to have accidentally fallen off someone's finger. JiYong frowned.

GangNam 2008...

He mumbled as he read the tiny words carved out on the inner side of the ring. He then turned to Seung Hyun who was still laying motionless on the bed.

Must be JaeHee... She's the only other person who has this ring other than hyung...

JiYong thought as he placed the ring on the side table beside the bed. He stood up and headed to the window which was left open. He slid it carefully until there was a click, signalling that it has locked.

JiYong headed back to the bed where Seung Hyun was, still, in deep sleep.

Hyung... Aish... You have never been in such deep sleep before...

JiYong said as he shook Seung Hyun's body a little. After a while, JiYong finally gave up. He sighed and stood up from the bed.

He must be really ill...

He thought as he left Seung Hyun's room and headed back to his own room.
