I was dreaming again.

This time I wasn't in a room. It was night time, and I was standing on a beach. A fire pit in front of me. I felt light, I felt happy.

I looked down, and I was naked. But somehow this did not bother me.

I wasn't holding any of the boys' hands now. I was holding the hands of the two girls.Across the fire, I could see the two boys. They too were holding hands. All of us in our birthday suits.

What is going on?

I squeezed the girls' hands. I wanted to know if I was dreaming again. But they felt warm, touchable. They felt real.
Feeling confused. I looked down at our held hands. As if sensing my stare, they both looked towards my face. For a reason that I did not understand, I then felt nervous.

Suddenly my hands felt clammy, and part of me wanted to remove my hands from them out of awkwardness. But I had no strength to do so. I wanted to feel closer to them. I need to be closer to them.

The girl on my right was the girl that had the same birthmark as me on her shoulders. She was staring at me in wonder. Eyes were small, almond-shaped and she had the darkest brown eyes I had ever seen. I couldn't help but look away from her eyes down to her lips. Her lips so full and unique, at the back of my mind I couldn't help but wonder how it would feel to softly bite them.

She was more beautiful than I had judged her to be.

I felt a tug on my left arm. I looked back to the other girl. And I finally saw her eyes. They were big and grey. But they looked so sad. Her pale skin looked warmer with the orange reflection of the flames dancing on her skin. She was gorgeous, her black hair was waist length making her look more alluring.

I looked across the flames and there stood the two boys. Both had dark brown eyes. They were staring at us so intently. The intensity of their gave never once wavered away from us. The reflection of the flames gave them both a warm hue. The pale's boy blond hair looked more vibrant with the reflection of the flames. His skin looked warm, but still starkly pale next to the boy with the deep mahogany skin.

Feeling compelled to be closer to them. I started walking towards the boys. As if we all shared one mind. We all started walking together towards each other. Towards the fire pit that separated us.

When we were about three inches away from the fire. We paused. I looked down towards my arm, and I see my birthmark light up a bright yellow. This time more intensely than before,  but I felt no pain.

I look up and I see that all of ours had lit up a bright yellow.

We all examined each other's birthmarks. They were all identical. Just in different places.
The pale girl's birthmark was on her hip, and the pale boy's birthmark was on his chest. Close to his heart.

I suddenly felt a pull to be even closer to them. It was a need that I had never felt before. I felt as if once we were all together, everything would somehow be okay.

We took another step towards each other.

As we were about to take the last few steps. I could hear my rationale nagging at me in the back of my mind.

Enez, what in the hell are you doing?

You are about to burn yourself alive.

Stop.

Ignoring the nagging at the back of my mind. We all took another step.

We were close now. We only had one more step. The fire so close that there was a feeling of warmth emanating from the fire. Not pain, not discomfort, but warmth.
