Kris said he'll be back in one day, but he wasn't. He stayed in Bulgaria. I tried to call him but he didn't answer.
Two weeks passed and Kris didn't come back. I went back to my old house to help dad. He said I can go back to Kris's when he comes back.
Now three weeks passed without Kris. I was kinda worried about him. I thought about him all day.
I was just about to go to sleep when my phone rang. I really hoped it was Kris. I took my phone. Unknown number.
"Hello," I said.
"Adison Kadinikov?" Someone asked.
"Yes. And who's this?"
"It's Daniel Kostov, Kristian's older brother. Maybe you remember me from childhood."
"Oh Dani! Yes, I remember you," I made a break. "And, um, why did you call me?"
"Well, it's kind of complicated."
"Tell me please. I'm worried about Kris."
"Okay. You know he came to Bulgaria to help me to prevent our parents to get a divorce."
"Yes?"
"Well, we did it, they won't get a divorce. But, the reason Kris isn't going back to Moscow is that he's in the hospital..."
"HE'S WHAT?!" I felt tears coming in my eyes.
"You know he has health issues. And he got upset because of our parents and he didn't eat anything and, boom, he got sick. He called me just to ask me to tell you that and since then he won't talk to any of us, just with you."
"Oh God." Tears were running down my cheeks and I couldn't stop them.
"And, don't tell anyone. Not even your dad, please."
"Okay. I promise. Is there anything I can do to help?"
"Yes. Come to Bulgaria."
