"hey! what are you two doing!" a voice shouts from below, startling the two boys and almost making them fall off the branches they were already tottering on. the duo jumped down, and immediately broke into a sprint. "come back here!" but they didn't look back.

a couple minutes later they reached a clearing and slowed down as they crossed the road to a shopping centre nearby. "you wanna get some ramyeon?" chenle asks, catching his breath.

"is that seriously a question?" jisung responds, already making his way towards the local store. he can't stop thinking about how many limits chenle must have pushed to get all the way here, knowing he wasn't the type to do any of what they just did. skip school AND run away from a security guard? this was a new side of chenle he'd never seen. before he could stop himself he asks, "are you up to all of this?"

"of course," chenle immediately responds. "anything for you" and there goes jisung's heart.

sitting on a curb, the two boys hatch a plan to convince their parents they didn't skip.

"i mean, it's obvious we skipped," jisung exclaims. "there's no way out of it!"

"well for me there is since this is my first time ever doing this." chenle begins, "but we could say we were just figuring out our tutoring schedule." he adds.

"true. we should get to that anyway." jisung points out.

"hm," jisung watches closely as chenle look down at his food, picking at it. "seeing as you're pretty much failing ever class, you wanna go for every day? we can slow it down later." chenle finally says.

"sure! i mean, alright. if that's what you want to do." he says awkwardly. chenle notices, and stares.

"you okay? you look uncomfortable." he says.

"yeahhhhhh," jisung says, even more awkwardly. "im fine." then smiles.

"you're a weird kid." and then they walked home
