Chapter 25: Fear of loosing

Arnav was highly terrified when he saw khushi miserable state. She was lifelessly lying in the floor in front of his eyes, clutching her stomach. He was just too furious and punched the man who is the reason of her misery.

''How dare you!!!!!'' He was on the height of rage and pushed him toward the wall. Soham went to stop him but he pushed him off arrogantly.

''Take this filthy girl out of my sight..'' Khushi cried in pain and upon that shashi hurtful words stabbing her heart.

''Shut your bloody mouth..she is pregnant dammit..''He raised his hand in a tight punch to beat shashi when khushi sorrowful face stopped him. Arnav last word was totally undigested for both shashi and rohan.

''Get lost!!'' He stated and immediately hold her into his arms and yelled for doctor. They were too shocked to react about her pregnancy news. They then noticed her swollen belly and look at each other bewildered.

''What? My di is pregnant?'' Ignoring his query, arnav approaches doctor while muskaan laid her in the stretcher. soham tried to move toward khushi but shashi stopped him. In a meanwhile, arnav took her toward ICU as per doctor inquiry. Shashi was eyeing her with disgust.

''Yeh ladki ne hame kahi muh dikhane layak nahi choda..pata nahi kiska paap..chii..'' (This girl left us to disgrace in society)

''Stop it dad..don't say like that about my di..see her condition she really need us..'' Shashi eyed him in disbelief.

''She is dead for me..i m ashamed to call her my daughter...anyways let's not waste our time here..garima is waiting for us..'' He didn't give any heed to soham plead and dragged him away from khushi room where doctors and nurses surrounded by her.

Arnav was standing outside the ICU totally shaken and distraught.  He have already been warned by doctors about her pregnancy complications. These last 2 months was quite difficult for her. Therefore he bring her in this city for safety measures. He himself wanted khushi to meet her parents and solve all the differences but before he make any effort she came face to face with her father and situation turns out drastic for her health. Now She and baby at risk.

He slammed his hand frustrated. Muskaan tried to assure him but nothing is helpful. An unknown pain stabbed his heart when she informed him about her current status. Her condition is getting critical. She urgently need to carry out C-section as her uterus get infected. Her blood flowing is unstoppable and BP is dropping. There is a chances she might slip in coma if her condition wouldn't be controllable. It took her little time to narrate by what doctor informed her. Arnav was going through all the emotions. He was angry on himself of not been there by her side when she needed his attention and care. He always been rude and keep on shouting and imposing his right other than making her happy.

He failed..he failed to protect her!! He is only responsible she is going through all.

Her last few words were still echoing in his brain before she looses her conscious.

''Mera bach-ha..sav..e..m..y bab..y..arnav..j..i..!'' He closed his eyes briefly. Muskaan bring a plane glass of water to calm his tension but he threw it away. Arnav singh raizada heart was accusing him for making an angel life a miserable one.

Garima can't believe her ears by what she heard. She feels an urge to meet her daughter and after knowing about her pregnancy from soham, she can't hold her emotions and insisted him to take her meet khushi. Its been ages since she saw her daughter.
