The sun shines down upon this retched planet
why do we wake up in the morning
why were we created when all it seems
we know how to do is bring pain
Murder
isn't just another corpse on the sidewalk
abortion
a person who died young
rape
a girl or boy at the wrong place or wrong time
robbery
stealing peoples acomplishments
why were we brought her
why can't we have peace
what happened to our species
to make us think we can do all these things
everyone are not these people,
but they can come from anyone
so why are we here
to struggle, to breathe, to grasp
I hope not, for that is not how I want to live
our people who won't help the homeless
who become one with greed
who step on those who think they are lower than them
who knows why we were set on this planet
but why can't we co exist with one another
live to say thy neighbor is not thy enemy
stride to walk away from a fight
and live to be happy and in the light
for if you touch the shadows you may never come
back from there alluring taste and empathy
for all those who have wronged
