*BANG BANG*

"What in the hell ??" Who was knocking at the door like that early this morning ??

I looked over at Reggie and Bella and they was still sleeping and it looks like Corey left to go get breakfast . Blah . I got up and opened the door to see Nat & Brooklyn smiling in my face.

"Goodmorning baby !"

"Nah huh Brooky, I heard y'all fucking on the phone last night. Get the fuck away ." Her and Nat burst out laughing but I was so forreal .

"What's all that noise Nique' ?" Bella had woke up. "Oh hey Nat. Hey Brooky." They hugged and shit and I walked in the kitchen and Corey had left a note that read ... "I'm out getting Nelle a checkup and she wants her nails done later so if y'all wanna join us meet at Cedar Brook mall around 4."

Aw. Okay . Well looks like I'm cooking breakfast and getting these hoodlums ready.

Nat , Bella , Nique , Reggie , and I sat eating breakfast and I began to wonder whether whoever was after Raheem was gonna leave us alone now that he had killed himself.

"Hey Reggie ? We need to talk about our current situation yunno ? Plan for our next move ."

"What you mean Brooklyn ?" She stuffed a piece of Bacon and looked at me with a curious look .

"About who was after Raheem ..." I was nervous about saying that but it was gonna have to happen eventually ...

"Look Brooklyn . I know you've been through a lot . We all have and right now our plan is to go after whoever did this . Find him or her and kill them and whoever did this but if you're scared to go through with this just say it . I won't hold it against you . We're all sisters its okay . and with four out of the six of us being mothers ... Well you know . Do what you do . We all grown here ." Reggie said all in one breath .

I thought about that over the rest of breakfast and as we got ready to meet with Corey and Nelle to get our nails and hair done. I couldn't STOP thinking about it. Did I want to put my life in jeopardy ? Would my future child be safe ? I was due to drop any day now . I don't know ...

/ Later @ Brooklyn & Nat's Place . \

"Brooooookkkkeeeee !" Why was Nat yelling my name ? I'm not supposed to do too much moving around even though that's ALL I do . I got big in like the last two months and now I'm ready to drop this damn baby .

I told my doctor I didn't wanna know the sex so I had bought just a few things for him or her . White onsies . Cute little.unisex socks and hats . Just stuff to wear until I can REALLY go shopping .

Nat walked in a few minutes later and sat at my feet . We sat and watched TV for alittle while and she rubbed my feet. Nat was always here for me . It felt good . Then her phone started ringing . She just glanced at the name and put it back down .

"Natalie , you're not gonna answer your phone ?" She looked up at me , looked back down , and just shook her head no .

"I will then ." Before she could comprehend what I was about to do I had the phone in my hand and had answered it .

"Hello ?"

"Um , this isn't Natalie . Put my baby on the phone . Who are you ?" She sounded ghetto as all outdoors and kept popping her gum in my ear.

"Ahh hell nah bit- you know what ? Never mind.  Here go yo "BABY". " I handed Natalie the phone and started packing an overnight bag.

"Bae where you going ?" I know she wasnt acting like everything was okay . I ignored her question and kept packing like she wasn't even talking .

I grabbed the keys off the table and stopped at the door to our room to turn and look at her watching me, "I'll be back when you've had time to get rid of your little hoes . I'm due to have this baby any day now and hoes is calling yo phone . C'mon now , I have no time for this ."

I walked out with the words I had just spoke still swimming in my head . Lord please let me be making the right decision ...

Brooklyn drove around Atlanta for a good hour to clear her head, she really liked Natalie and had a lot of feelings for her and was hurt knowing she was still dealing with other women .

She began feeling pains in her lower back and instead of heading straight to Reggie's house like she had planned she stopped at a gas station for over the counter pain meds and get gas . As she sat beside her car watching the number tick by slowly on the gas meter she felt water trickle down her leg and then a sharp pain in her abdomen . She had went into labor all alone ...
