Chapter Eight

Brooklyn -

I woke up in what looked like a hospital room but I knew I wasn't in a hospital . I tried sitting up but I was tied down at the arms and legs and my baby was gone .

"What the fuck ?" I said aloud . I looked around the best I could and somebody had turned a basement into a hospital / torture room . Whoever was stalking Raheem must've been following me , why was I such an idiot ??

"Oh hello Brooklyn . Nice to see you awake ." I knew that voice from somewhere I just couldn't place it . I tried looking at his face but him and another person were in the shadows.

"Who the fuck are you and where is my child ?!" I was trying to speak calmly but I was so pissed off I was speaking through gritted teeth .

"Ahh , calm down . You will see your precious little girl with time ." So it was Malayja . This a bitch ass way of finding out I had a little girl .

I calmed down and took afew deep breaths before speaking again , "What the hell do you want ?"

"Oh just for you to hand Atlanta over to us and move far far away . We'll take care of expenses for you and your little crew . You know I realized you were the weakest link amongst them ... Well next to Raheem . I didn't mean to kill his mom or for him to kill himself but hey , shit happens right ? You know I'm surprised you STILL haven't figured out who I am ."

I was surprised too . That voice was almost engraved in my mind but I couldn't put a name or a face to it ...

"Baby can we just kill her already ? All this waiting is making me sad ." What in the fuck . I know that voice anywhere . Why was Chloe here ??

"What the hell Chloe ! What are you doing here !?" Damn , Chloe was this girl that we all used to know from college and she was supposed to be in the crew but after we found out she was fucking around with the same guy we were trying to take out the game we started leaving her out and eventually lost touch all together . We never found the guy that we were trying to take out because he just disappeared off the face of the earth and we got distracted with Lucky being more involved with us and yeah ...

Chloe laughed and came to sit beside me, "You know Brooklyn , I really liked you . You were supposed to be my bestfriend till the end . Brooklyn & Chloe . But you were so stuck up that bitch Nique's ass you didn't care about me. That's why I started dating your enemy . But we have to go now . See ya soon honey. "

She got up and her and my old rival walked out but first he turned around and said, "I'll send you a buddy to help you eat and he might bring the baby . Not sure though, I don't want you to get attached and then we kill you ." After that he just shut the door and I was left staring into space for about an hour or two.

Then in walked a tall darkskin with these gorgeous dimples. "Who are you and can you help me get out ?"

"Haha no . But my names Ja'Rai . All I'm really supposed to do is keep you company and feed you and change your catheter."

( Authors Note : A Catheter Is That Thing That Put In You At The Hospital To Go To The Bathroom If You Can't Walk . Its Gross Y'all. )

"Keep me company ??" I was dying laughing . Chloe & ole dude was a trip . I guess I'm going to talk to Ja'Rai though . He was cute.

"So what's your name pretty lady ?" He flashed a smile and me and I melted . Smiles are my weakness .

"Um , Brooklyn ." His facial expression changed a little and then went back to normal .

"By any chance do you know a girl named Regina ? She has a small frame, brown skinned, long natural hair ? Oh & a beautiful little girl named Nelle' ."

"What the hell . Yes ! That's my sister !" I was yelling but shit ! This could be my way up out of here !

"Oh god.  I can't believe ... Look Ima get you out of here . Let me go meet up with her okay ?"

"Okay and hurry !" All kind of thoughts were running through my head at this point but obviously God had me cause Ja'Rai was an angel ...
