TATOOINE .

A harsh desert world orbiting two suns in the galaxy's outer rim , Tatooine is a lawless place ruled by Hutt gangsters . Many scratch out a living on moisture farms , while spacesport cities such as Mos Eisley & Mos Espa serve as a home base for smugglers , criminals , & other rogues . The many dangers that are included on this plants are sandstorms , bands of savage tusken raiders , & carnivorous krayt dragons . The planet is also known for its dangerous podraces , rampant gambling , & legalized slavery .

The one place the three heroes would happily never return if they had the choice . The dusted sand desert planet held rather sour memories for Luke Skywalker , Han Solo , & Leia Organa . They were especially most wanted would have easily been attacked .

Of course , Han had to have his deposit on the planet . He also needed credits to move on , the rebel business did not pay him as well as he had been for all the smuggling heists he had performed . The man also refused credits from Leia .

Luke & Leia tagged along due to their being adamant of not letting Han go to Tatooine by himself . After the destruction of Jabba , everyone would be after them .

Landing was not easy . The space port would not accept them , due to Han's lack of pay for the last parking. Which led the three to landing the Falcon several miles away in the middle of the desert .

The walk to Mos Eisley would be too burdensome , so on the way , they rented a landspeeder .

LEIA ORGANA could see the spaceport through the macrobinoculars she held up as she sat in the passenger's seat , with Han in the driver 's , & Luke in between them in the back . She lowered them & placed them in her lap , sighing lowly at the Mos Eisley ahead .
