It's June 2, 2026. I'm in seventh period waiting for school to be over. This summer I get to meet my soul mate. I look at the small time tracker on the inside of my right wrist. 2 Months 3 Days 2 Hours 12 Minutes 43 Seconds until I meet them. I wonder who it is. What's their gender? Will they even like me? What if they're way younger or way older? I'm nervous and excited. My thoughts were interrupted by my teacher yelling at me.
"ROSALIYA! Just because it's the last day of school means you get to doze off in my class.", Mr. Andrew says while rudely pointing at me.
"I understand, but we literally have 2 minutes left of the school year. I would think you would've laid off the work about a week ago like all the other teachers. Also, we're graduating tommorow so shouldn't we be socializing and spending the last minutes together as a whole?", I point out
"Well when you put it that way, yes. But since I'm not like the other teache-", He was interrupted my the bell and we all ran out of class before he could finish his sentence.
I get to my car and start driving. I'm really going to be an adult after tomorrow! This is amazing, I don't have to worry about my parents being all in my business when I'm home alone any more. This is a great feeling.
I hear my child! "STITCH COME HERE!"
I see my dog now running down the stairs excitedly!
*??? P.O.V.*
"Yeah man, I've got a couple months left on my timer." I say into my phone excitedly
"No way, lucky! I've got three years left on mine. I hope the wait is worth it.", Emerson says back to me
"Ha. Anyway I have to go, I'll see you in a week, Bye", I say as I hang up
