Part 11

                                     Erika's POV
I didn't leave Jake's House until 1 AM me and Chloe were talking for hours until she went to sleep. On the  drive home I was just thinking about how much I love Jake's little family. I hope I get to spend a lot more time with them. I opened the door to my house and I quietly snuck up to my room. I turned on the light to see my stepdad sitting on the bed

. "So Erika where are you coming from?" He said "oh nowhere really" "Erika! Where is nowhere!" "Dan it's not important seriously" I rolled my eyes and said "yes it is! Erika you have never been one to keep secrets can you please just tell me" "Dan I love you but this is my life and I'm not a little girl anymore I don't have to tell you anything!" "If you don't tell me right  now I will hire someone to follow you around until I find out Erika" I usually would think that he wouldn't but knowing Dan being the over protective person that he is I knew he would actually hire someone to follow me around. "Fine" I rolled my eyes and said. "I was at my boyfriends house and before you ask NO we didn't sleep together I came home late because I was talking to his brothers girlfriends Chloe" Dan put a disapproving look on his face. I put both my hands on top of eachother and payed then on the bed and said "bible" Dan did the same but instead put his hands on top of mine and said "bible."

Bible is this thing we do when we need to know the trig is someone calls bible you cannot lie and if you lie on bible then well. I don't know it's never happened before. "Erika it's not that I don't believe you it's just that I don't like the idea of this boyfriend." "Dan I promise he is a great guy he treats me like a princess" "ok but still I wanna see him in person. can you invite him for dinner next week?" "Sure thing" I replied. Dan kissed me on the cheek and left the room. I changed into a sports bra and a oversized t-shirt and when to sleep.

*Time skip to Erika arriving at Jake's the next day to ask him about dinner*

I knocked on the door and I heard footsteps running before the door opens. "Hey come in" Jake said with a huge smile on his face. I got on my tip toes and leaned in to kiss Jake. I put my arms around his neck and he put his arms around my waist pulling me closer. As the kiss started to get heated we heard crying and Jake pulled away. "Be right back!" He said and pecked my lips. He jogged to what I'm assuming is his daughters room and stayed for a bit. "Erika do you mind coming in here! He screamed I walked into the room seconds later. "Hey so she won't sleep unless I'm holding her so we have to stay in here sorry" 

I looked at Broune she was beautiful. She was smiling in her sleep as Jake rocked her. "She looks just like you" I said as I smiled at her. I look up to see Jake smiling at me "ya think? I never really thought so. You wanna hold her?" Jake said that's when something hit me hard. I ignored the fact that Jake had a daughter for a long time and now that I'm face to face with her knowing that she is a big part of the biggest part of my life (Jake) that I would have to  be a mother figure to her. No maybe I'm over thing things. I snap out of my thoughts to see Jake holding her out to me. "Uh no I'm  good I wouldn't wanna wake her up." "Oh ok" Jake said a little disappointed

"Anywayyyy" I said "I was wondering if you could come over to my house next Tuesday for dinner with my family. I know it's early but I want you to meet them and I know you'll love them" I continued to ramble as Jake walked closer to me "They're really nice people well no duh they made me and I like to think I'm a nice person but my mo-" before I could finish Jake kissed me. He pulled away and said "I would love to have dinner with them Erika" Jake smiled "awesome come by my house around 8 next Tuesday" I said and pecked Jake and the lips "bye Jake" I said and happily skipped away. I know this dinner is gonna go amazing.
