Toby awoke to someone knocking on the door. He carefully got up without waking Spencer, who was in his arms. It was only six in the morning, who would be here this early? He got his boxers on and his sweatpants on before going to the door. He opened it, and was shocked to who he saw.
It was his mom.
"Hello, Toby," she said, eyeing him , as he didn't have a shirt on.
"Uh, mom, hey," he said awkwardly.
She stared at him as she raised an eyebrow. As always, she was in her work uniform- she was a lawyer.
"Let me go get dressed," he said, hurriedly going back into the bedroom.
He started to shake Spencer awake and she groaned.
"Spencer, wake up," he said frustratedly.
"What is it?" she whined.
"My mom's here, get dressed," he urged.
She quickly got up and awkwardly stood there naked, not sure what she should do under the pressure.
He tried not to stare at her naked body, he was desperately hoping he wouldn't get hard.
"Hurry!" he whisper yelled.
"Toby? Is everything okay in there?" his mother called.
"Everything's fine!"
She quickly slipped on her panties, volleyball shorts and his shirt from last night. He quickly got a shirt on and some jeans.
"Okay, stay here until I come back in and get you, okay?" he told her and she nodded.
He left their room and faced his mom once again.
"Hey, uh... why are you here, exactly?" he asked.
"Well, first of all, I haven't heard from you, in like, five months! Second of all, your step brother told me he saw a woman walk inside here, do you have someone here?" she questioned.
He was shocked.
"Wren followed my girlfriend here?"
"Girlfriend?"
"Yes, girlfriend," he said, going to the bedroom and opening the door.
Spencer walked out of the bedroom, confused.
"Wren is your stepbrother?" she said, her voice cracking.
"Um... yeah," he said quietly.
"I can't believe this!" she cried, starting to cry.
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Wren was engaged to my sister, and he dated her since I was nine. It was probably before he became your step brother, because I know I've never met you,"
"So you know Wren?" he asked, completely ignoring his mom at this moment.
"I knew more than just his face. He forced me to know every inch of his body!" she sobbed, falling into Toby's arms.
Toby's mother stood there motionless.
"I think I'll leave," she said before quickly leaving.
Toby held Spencer on the floor as she laid in his lap.
"Spence, why didn't you tell me?" he asked softly, petting her hair.
"I was scared," she sniffled.
"It's okay, I love you," he told her, taking ahold of her hand.
