Three months had passed since Spencer had gotten fired from the grocery store and Toby's situation with Alison. Spencer had gotten a job as an English teacher at Rosewood High.

Getting the job as a teacher benefitted them both. Spencer got home earlier than Toby did so they'd have time together after he arrived home at sunset.

"Hey Tobes," Spencer smiled happily as he walked through the door.

She set her laptop down onto the coffee table and got off the couch, hugging him and kissing him.

"Hey baby, how are you?"

"The students tire me out so much," she groaned, leaning against his chest.

"I thought I was the one who tired you out," he chuckled, kissing her cheek.

"You are," she giggled, going into the kitchen.

He followed her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"So, what do you wanna do?" he whispered in her ear.

"I was hoping we could make dinner together," she smiled, pulling away from him turning around and kissing him on his nose.

"What did you wanna make?" he asked, lifting her up and setting her on the table.

"Well, now that we're in this position... maybe a frozen pizza would be fine for tonight," she whispered, pressing her forehead against his.

He chuckled.

"Anything turns you on,"

"You're the only one that can do that to me, hon," she smirked, getting off the table.

"Let's see," she sighed, opening the fridge. "We could maybe... make some lasagna? Or spaghetti?" she listed.

"I think lasagna sounds delicious," he sad, coming up behind her again.

"But it takes forever to make," she groaned, leaning her head back and resting it on Toby's chest.

"Oh alright," he chuckled. "Spaghetti it is. But, I want you to go rest. Have some time to yourself, watch some tv or something and take a break from your school stuff," he said, playing with her hair.

Spencer closed the fridge and turned around, facing him.

"Toby, I can't let you do that. You've been working on the house all day! You're probably exhausted," she frowned. "All I pretty much do is teach students and grade their horrific homework," she sighed.

"You can let me do it, Spence. I love you and I want you to be as rested as possible,"

"I want the same for you,"

He paused.

"Then let's maybe not eat," he shrugged.

She laughed.

"Or... we could make it together," she smiled.

"Oh fine," he kissed her nose as he walked over to the cupboard to get some spaghetti noodles out.

"Wow, that was actually delicious," Spencer teased, putting down her fork.

"I know, I do an amazing job at cooking," he smirked as Spencer hit his hand playfully.

"Alright, well, we should probably go to bed now, it's not like we have anything else to do," she said sarcastically, standing up and picking up her dishes.

"Nothing else to do?" He smiled.

"Nothing," she repeated, washing out her bowl.

"Okay, well if we have nothing to do I'll just be here sitting on the couch watching the news," he shrugged, also picking up his dishes and washing them.

"Sounds good to me," she said seductively before trailing off into the bedroom.

He chuckled, sitting on the couch.

A few minutes later Spencer emerged from the bedroom.

"Well? Are you ready to do nothing?" she asked.

Toby looked up from the TV and saw Spencer standing in the doorway, dressed in lingerie.

"Oh wow," he said as he looked at her body, already feeling his pants getting tighter.

"Well? Are you ready or what?" she teased, going back into the bedroom.

He quickly shut off the TV and rushed into the bedroom, eager to take off her lingerie.

"Hey," Spencer smiled as Toby emerged from the bedroom.

"Hey," he yawned, stretching. "What're you making?" he asked, sitting down at the table.

"Just some basic bacon and eggs," she shrugged, flipping the fried egg.

"We haven't had this special of a breakfast in a while. What's going on?" he asked.

"I know the house is done, Toby," she sighed, placing the eggs and bacon onto plates.

"What? Spence, it's only been like, four months. That's not even possi-"

"Toby. You've been coming home way earlier, and much dirtier," she said sternly.

"Okay, fine. Yes, it's done. I got some help on it because it was a little hard by myself and the process went much faster than it would if I did it by myself,"

"Why have you been keeping it secret from me?" she frowned, setting the plates on the table and sitting down.

"I wanted it to be the perfect time to surprise you. I'm saving up for something," he admitted.

"Saving up for what?"

"It's not important... I guess," he brushed it off. "I'll take you to see the house as soon as I have enough for the thing I want to buy,"

She gave him a look and raised her eyebrow.

"Fine, whatever,"

"Spence, please don't be mad,"

"I'm not,"

"Spencer,"

"Toby,"

"Okay, you win. I'm gonna take a shower,"

"And not eat my wonderful breakfast," she fake pouted.

He chuckled and sat back down.

"Anything for you,"
