All this attention was way too much, I wasn’t ever the one to be in the spotlight but now it seemed as if all eyes were on me and everyone was giving me fake smiles to try and show some sort of sympathy. I didn’t NEED sympathy. I needed answers.

‘I can’t believe she’s alive.’

‘I know, weird huh?’

‘I wonder who did it, do you think the news will say anything more about it?’

‘No, that story has blown over, her few minutes of stardom have gone.’

Yeah, I wish! It felt like I was a fricking celebrity right now with all these people talking and staring at me, they may as well take pictures, that’ll last longer than the eyes gleaming at my every move.

I rolled my eyes at some of the pathetic things people were coming up with, they really will believe anything.

I shut my locker door shut and began walking to first class; I had been kept off school for a few days for recovery, I only had 3 days left in school anyway because then I would be breaking up for the summer term! Thank you God!

I walked into the class room and sat at my usual seat, I could feel people’s eyes staring and it made me cringe, what was with all the staring? So what, I was an accident, no big deal.

I felt someone bump into the back of my chair making my chair move forward slightly and making me bump my ribs on the table making me groan, I turned my head slightly but I could tell by the expression change on the person’s face that pain was written all over mine.

I had a slight crack and bruising in my ribs, the bruises on the outside of my body were a sickly mixture of black and blue but I have also damaged some things inside of my stomach but I nearly fell asleep when the doctor was telling me the precautions.

“Oh my gosh, Blair, I’m so sorry.” Belle said as she stood by the side of me looking at me sceptically.

“N-No... it’s fine.” I said nodding my head.

“Are you sure?” She asked still with a slightly shocked expression on her face.

I nodded my head with a small smile, Belle was a lovely girl, she was quite quiet yet quite popular but she wasn’t mean at all, she was lovely to everyone and everything.

As the lesson dragged on I could feel my eyes drooping slightly, I hadn’t had much sleep in days as the pain when I lay down is near unbearable.

When I closed my eyes a vision came into my head, a flashback of the day it happened, the sky was blue but yet the day was still quite breezy as it was early hours of day, I took a step off the curb, I even checked, looked both ways, there was nothing there, I took a step out onto the road and as soon as I got to the middle, I could hear the screeching of tires, my head wipped around as if automatically, a silver car was speeding right my way and the driver... was, certainly something creepy.

As that vision play out in my head, I shot up as my breath had became un even, I looked around slightly to see the whole classes attention on me, I turned my head slightly towards the teacher to see her looking at me with a slightly raised eye brow.

“What’s the matter Blair? Is everything alright?” She asked while bending down slightly to my height.

I nodded my head back slightly trying to control my breathing back to normal, there was just something about that day... something that didn’t really ‘click’ for me, there was something wrong.

Blair Summers...’ A raspy voice echoed through my ears as my eyes drooped again ever so slightly, I looked around but everything was back to normal, what. the. hell?
