Chapter 7- sorting it out

Livy's POV:

Hayes and Brent have been in the water for about 20 minutes now, while me Katie just talked and tanned.

I had my face burried into arms as I layed on my stomach, when Kae started wacking my shoulder.

"Liv, Liv, Liv." She said not taking her eyes of whatever she was looking at.

"What is it no-" I dropped my mouth as I saw Sydney walk down the beach.

"Fucking no." I mentally slapped my forehead with my hand. As we saw her walking past us we gave her a death glare, she then snapped her head towards us. She put on her bitchy grin and waved, then ran back to her fake ass friends.

"That fucking bitch better not ruin our day." Kae growled.

" How the fuck does Hayes date that thot." She spat out giving a horrid look.

That's right Hayes still dates her... I just sighed at the thought and put my glasses back on and lay back down.

10 minutes later*

I was still lying there quietly when I felt cold drips on my back.

"HOLY SHIT THAT'S COLD, HAYES." I said flipping onto my stomach and looking up at him as he chuckled.

"Is there anything I can help you with poobear?" I asked raising on eyebrow.

"Yes actually, come and swim already." He said dropping his hand by his thigh.

"How about no, sorry poobear." I grinned.

"You left me no choice then babe." He sighed. Next thing you know I was lifted off the ground onto his shoulder.

"HAYES DONT YOU DARE." I screamed hearing Kae also being dragged down.

"Sorry bub, it's happening." He said jogging on the soft sand, I tried kicking and punching his back, did that help? No it did not.

"Holy shit your ripped, now put me down Hayes." I said not giving up it was pointless, he came to a halt and said.

"Water looks nice today, Livy." In an annoying voice.

"DON'T THROW ME IN HAYESSS." I yelled as he began to lift me up. He started to count down.

"One, two, three!" then I felt myself land in the ocean water with a huge splash.

I quickly stood up and looked to Hayes who was laughing his ass off, I thought I would try run out when I felt a tight grip on my waist.

"And where do you think your going, huh." Hayes said still holding a grip on my waist. I just laughed as he swung me into a big bear hug.

"I love having you as my best friend, you know that right?"

"Yea yea, I love you too Hayes."

I just rested my head on his chest as we stood there, I then decided to brake the peaceful silence.

"Sorry to ruin it poobear but can we get out of the water, I'm freezing and Brent and Kae are already up there." I said looking up at him.

"Sure bub." He smiled and looked towards the sand.

"Can I have a piggy back, I'm to lazy to walk." I flopped my hand on his shoulder even though he was taller than me.

"Sure skinny." He said crouching down for me to climb on his back, I jumped on his back wrapping my arms round his shoulders as he gained his balance.

"Let's gooo!" He yelled running up the small mountain of sand that led back to our spot, Hayes came to an immediate halt. I couldn't believe my eyes, I jumped off of Hayes backed and ran closer with him by my side. To see Kae on top of Sydney slapping her and fighting.

"KAE, COME ON THAT'S ENOUGH!" I said pulling her off holding her arms as she tried to get out of my grasp.

"I got her Liv." Brent whispered taking hold of Kae, I nodded my head and stood beside Brent as Hayes ran to Sydney's side, ugh.

"KATIE, WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO?" Hayes yelled as he held Sydney, well gritting his teeth as he spoke.

"WELL MAYBE I WENT CRAZY, WHEN THIS THOT KISSED BRENT." Kae screamed out, that little bitch.

Hayes POV:

When Kae said that Sydney kissed Brent I snapped my head to make eye contact with Sydney.

"Sydney, tell me you didn't please" I said with anger and pain in my voice.

"Hayes I can expla-" I cut her off immediately.

"God damn it Sydney no I don't want you to explain at all, I'm done with you Sydney done."

Sydney's mouth slightly opened as if she was going to say something but then she slowly closed it.

Why didn't I listen to my best friends especially, ugh I'm pissed I'm done with Sydney.

She than began to walk away, whispering something into Livy's ear. As soon as Sydney removed herself from her side Livy's lips began to curl and her eyes had began to water filling the corners or her eyes.

"I'm gonna go home now, it's getting late Cam will want me home." She said as her voice began to crack.

"What did she say to you." I said running by her side grabbing onto both her hands trying to look into her eyes as she avoided contact with me.

"Nothing it's fine, I'm just going home." She said finally looking in my eyes, she's not okay.

"I'm coming with you, Brent and Kae will come later they need to sort things out." I said helping her with her stuff.

She then just grabbed her magcon sweater and threw it over her head, we grabbed our penny boards and began to walk of the beach. I sent a text to Brent saying that we were leaving and we will see them back at Livy's house soon.

She wasn't okay and that was one thing.
