Chapter 6- One way or another

Katie POV:

We all looked at the time to see we had been watching T.V and mucking around for an hour and half. It was now 11 o"clock, we looked at eachother and back at the staircase.

"GO!" We all screamed as we ran up the stairs into Livys room.

"Im going to get my board shorts, Brent you're coming with me." Hayes said as they both walked out to my balcony to climb down the side of the house to his.

"I'll be in the bathroom" I said as I ran in and closed the door, I decided on going with a bright neon bikini.

Livy's POV:

"Already eleven" I mumbled to myself.

"I'll be in the bathroom" Kae said as she shut the door behind. I snapped back to reality as I rummaged through my draws to find a bathing suit, it was a mint green tribal print bikini. I slipped on my cover ups, one of Hayes obey tank tops he left here, with my high wasted jean shorts.

As I just finished slipping the tank top on Hayes and Brent had just walked in, Hayes smirked at me.

"Nice shirt, where'd you get it from?" He said being a doche.

"Ummm you considering you left it here for a while" I shrugged while giving a cheeky grin.

"Looks good on you actually." He said with a chuckle looking down at his phone.

"Ohhhhh, tension hmm." Brent said looking at Hayes and wriggling his eyebrows

"Yea right Brent, or Krent." I smirked as Hayes let out a laugh.

"Shut up, Layes." I hear Kae as she walks out the bathroom. I put my head down trying to hide my blush, Hayes doing the same.

"Are you girls done yet." I heard Brent speak up.

"Wait our hair!" Me and Kae said in unsion, pushing our way through the bathroom door while the boys laughed. We stood in front of mirror, I braided my hair into two french plaits putting on my black Nike cap. Kae just put her long locks into a high pony tail, with her white Nike hat.

We ran back out the bathroom door.

"Done" we both grinned as the boys head shot up.

"Okay, lets go me and Brent already have food and drinks in our bags. You and Kae have towels and beach stuff." Hayes said as he stood up and ran his hand through his hair.

We grabbed our phones, shoes and glasses and ran down the stairs to see Cam sitting on his phone.

"You guys off?" He said snapping his head to us.

"Yea we'll be back later" I said as we all grabbed our penny boards that were leaning on the wall. We got no reply so we exited the house riding down to the beach 15 minutes away from mine.

Hayes POV:

We grabbed our penny boards and began to ride down the road, it felt good to be back with Livy. Although I have not broken up with Sydney yet, shit I need to talk to her.

"HAYES LOOK OU-" I snapped out of it, I felt myself flying through the air then hitting the ground.

"Shit" I mumbled as I turned to my side to see Livy standing up with scrapes on her knees and elbows.

"Hayes what the fuck happened?!" Brent came running over to me while Kae went to Liv.

"I just zoned out" I said getting up.

"Is she ok?" I asked as I adjusted my vision.

"Yea shes fine man, the fall wasn't that big." I just walked up to Liv and she smiled and shook her head.

"Watch where you are going next time Grier."

"Sorry Liv." I put my arm round her shoulder and gave her a small side hug.

"your lucky your my bestfriend and give the best hugs." She grinned.

"I know right! Now let's keep going we are almost there!" I said with excitement. We boarded down more when the beach came into view.

"We made it finally" I looked up and smiled at everyone. Let's have some fun.

Livy'sPOV:

Finally the beach had stared to come into view as the ocean breeze hit my face. Now that I'm with my best friends, nothing can go wrong I hope...

We rode onto the wooden pathway that lead down a ramp onto the hot burning sand. As we made our way down the ramp we jumped of, all landing smoothly on our feet with our boards gripped in our hands. We looked at each other and laughed, seeing that we always do that when we come here.

We walked across the hot scorching sand finding a spot on the beach. We layed down our towels and begin to unpack our mini cooler that Brent insisted he should bring. It was small enough to go into his bag.

After doing that we all began to take off our cover ups, I quickly stood up and pulled the tank top over my head to reveal my bright tribal print bikini top. I knew Hayes was starring, I shot my up to make eye contact with him as soon as I looked at him he ducked his head away back to Brent. I saw Katie do the same, starring at Brent I knew it.

Hayes and Brent then followed after me and Kae, when I turned my head I couldn't help but stare at Hayes bare stomach.

"Like what you see, Liv" Hayes snapped me out of it.

"Whatever Poobear" I turned back onto my stomach hiding the blood rushing to my cheeks, I can't he's my best friend ugh.

I heard Kae giggle as she looked my face.

"#layes is becoming real." She looked at me.

"Come on don't act like you weren't starring at Brent, and besides me and Hayes are best friends we could never date"I said simply looking at my phone.

"Ohh come on Liv you so can date your best friend." Kae said dragging along the pointless conversation.

"Hey, me and Brent are going swimming now, you coming?" Hayes said looking at water than back at me.

"Nahhh, I might just stay here." I said squinting at the sun.

"Okay loser, if you don't come in the water soon I'm getting you in the water one way or another." He said pointing at me and trying to give a serious look.

"Is that right, okay then have fun." I  gave him a grin.

"Watch out Liv." He said turning and running towards the water with Brent

"They better not." Kae said with a death glare towards the water the boys were swimmnig.

"I will kill them." I replied with a laugh.

Hayes POV:

"Okay loser, if you don't come in the water soon I'm getting you in one way or another.'" I pointed to Liv giving her a serious face then breaking into a smile.

"Is that right, okay then have fun" She said grinning.

"Watch out Liv." I laughed and turned around running down the beach with Brent.

As we ran closer to the water a thought had to come to my head, I still need to talk to Sydney that me and Livy are friends again and it's staying that way.

Right now I need to enjoy having fun with my best friends, I hope Sydney doesn't turn up ugh shit.

"Hayes you ok bro?" Brent said looking up at me.

"Yea I'm fine, come on lets swim" I said ducking my head under the water and swimming round.
