The Red Sniper looked at himself in the mirror. His sun glasses resting on the edge of the sink and his hair a tad ruffled. The bushman had just applied shaving cream on his face indicating his occasional shave when he was interrupted by knocking. He disreguarded it, mumbling to himself. The knocking persisted. He huffed and pinched the bridge of his nose."Of bloody course..." He said to himself." HOLD ON!" He exclaimed to his unwanted visitor.Quickly he washed his face with water and dried himself off with a towel. Then went marching to the door. The knocking came once again. He groaned, obviously annoyed."Hold your bloody horses!"He nearly pulled the door off its hinges.Angrily staring at his visitor.Who would be the team's Medic. The doctor had his hands formally behind his back. Sniper scoffed."What is it doc? Im kinda'r busy...Well I was." He said irritated. He glared at medic who just stared back, unswayed from the Austrailian's attitude."Too busy for a mission?" He remarked. Sniper sighed rolling his eyes."Even if I was I'd still have to go, so spit it out what's the mission."He grumpily crossed his arms with an angry attitude and leaned on the door frame of his van."Just a simple and mere intelligence run.Actually to be specific about this. We are obtaining information about a Austrailium rocketship crash site."The doctor said matter of factly. Little did he know this sentence caught the sniper's interest. Intrigued sniper spoke up."Correct me if 'am wrong, but you said a Austrailium rocketship?"The sniper asked interest clearly showing. Medic unsure why the sniper seemed to be invested into this answered."Ja. Correct. Zhat is vhat I said."The doctor confirmed. Next thing you know Sniper went promptly inside scrambling, leaving the door open, to get his guns and kukuri. Just as quickly as he went in,he came out.His attitude the polar opposite, now being enthusiastic and determined."Well c'mon lad! Let's go!" Sniper barked. Medic looked at him confused."I believe you are missing some things."Medic examined the sniper with an odd expression. Sniper gazed at him now snapped out of his positive mood."What are you bloody talking ab-"His sentence cut short as his feet met a sharp pain."BUGGER!" He cursed aloud. He scowled and held his foot up dusting the rocks off. While doing this he leaned on the van for support. Medic chuckled and smugly smirked at the sniper."Told you,you vere forgetting some things." Shaking his head slowly. The smile still on his face."Yea,yea piss off."Sniper retorted. He then went to get a pair of socks and his shoes as well as his hat. Then came out marching, until he saw medic was still waiting. He slammed the van door closed."Why aren'tchya with the others."Sniper glares at the Medic who kept a neutral expression. "Because I vas told to escort you to ze others."He stated as if it were an obvious fact.Sniper groaned and rolled his eyes."Of course YOU were." The bushman spoke putting emphasis on you.His tone was extremely bitter. Medic still disreguarded his attitude. Not caring, for why should he? He didn't care about the sniper's bickering. He didnt care if sniper saw him as a problem. The man was just being childish.
They both began to walk towards the base through the empty, dry, desert. Little lizards scurried around, and the sun hung high above them as they passed by an occasional cactus. Silence and dust hung in the air until the doctor spoke."Its not like I volunteered. I vas busy as vell with an....experiment." It wasn't an experiment per say more like simple research he had been working on.Before he could think back to his earlier project the sniper interfered. "Aw and I thought you liked my company"He sneered acting as if his feelings were hurt. Medic began to snicker then cackle. Sniper couldn't help but listen to the doctor's laughter. Their walking came to a small and sudden halt."Me?"He gestured to himself still laughing. "liking your company? Thats preposterous. Any time I try to even converse with you,you somehow bring up of ze fact that I 'killed' you."
He made air quotes with his gloved hands as his laughter gradually died down. Sniper didnt find this matter as funny or comedic at all. He frowned.
"I do not do that." He denied and added onto the sentence."Plus it's true you were the one that bloody killed me." Sniper accused. The bushman huffed. Medic rolled his eyes and adjusted his glasses."I vas next to ze man who killed you. I afterwards revived you,and besides zhat vas month or so ago."He brushed it off."Oh well thank you my lord and bloody savior."Sniper 'thanked' him with sarcasm dripping from his tone.
"Your Velcome."Medic smirked once again, finding some pleasure in annoying the sniper. Sniper scoffed and shoved his hands in his pockets as he walked. Medic took notice."Aw is someone having their mittleschmerz."
He mocked. Sniper rather than insulted was dumbfounded and stopped walking."s'cuse me?"He looked at medic with a completely puzzled expression. Not knowing German "Oh nothing."Medic smiled innocently and continued walking. Sniper quickly followed after him. "Naw doc you said somethin'. What was it?"He asked extremely curious."Nothing" Was the reply of medic. Sniper pestered medic for a moments more and each time he was denied an answer."I said nothin-Ah look ve are at ze base."Medic grinned and picked up the pace, chuckling to himself. Sniper still left dumbfounded began to walk faster inorder to keep up with Medic. They were going to the team van. Through the chatter a thunderous voice boomed."SQUEEZE IN LADIES ZHANNA AND I COMING TOO!" Soldier grinned underneath his helmet, holding hands with his love, Zhanna.Everyone, with a groan, began cramming themselves into the van. Up front were Scout and Heavy. In the back was the rest of the team. As you can imagine it was packed, four team members on each side of the van. Sniper,Medic,Soldier and Zhanna on the left. Spy,Demoman, Pyro, and Engineer on right. After everyone was in they began their trip to their target.
