Change of scenery 2

The van was parked into a spot. Sniper unbuckled his seat belt.

"Well?C'mon."

Medic took off his seat belt. Both got out of the car.

"Oh might wanna leave yer coat doc."

"Oh right...."

Usually he would've been fine with this but for some reason he felt somewhat odd. Not wanting to take his coat off. Another thing to which he must add to his list of why's. He took off his coat and left it in the front. Sniper waited for him.

"Ready?"

"Ja."

"Okay let's go."

"Alright."

Sniper led medic through the trees. Medic at times would stop to take in the view. Sniper took notice.

"Want me to walk slower?"

"Nein its fine Im just taking in ze view."

"Well where we're going is a better view."

"Really?"

"Yeah now c'mon!"

He gestured for medic to follow.They walked for a little while till there was a open field framed with trees.

"This..this is quite beutiful."

The sun's light reflected all across the field. Sniper always seen this view but for some reason now it seemed to stand out more to him like there was something that wasnt there before.

"Y-yea it is."

Medic sat down on a log looking at the sky. Sniper sat down as well.Medic still glanced at the field his glasses reflected the sun.

"Doc can I ask you a question?"

"Of course. Though that wS supposed to be my job."

He turned towards sniper smiling.

"When I had my episode....you said I was angry... I just want you to know that Im honestly not holding a grudge against you. Or well nothing like killing you or something. I'm not like that. I mean course ill remember it but I don't plan to have 'revenge' over it or anything of that sort."

"I know. Its not your fault for the episode you had no control. And your only human we can't exactly control our emotion. But know that I vill help you through this."

Sniper smiled feeling assured.

"Thanks doc..."

"Its no problem its ze least I can do."

"The least? Doc you literally brought me back to life you've done quite alot."

"Well technically I killed you.As you put it."

"Gah no you didnt it was that wanker next to you. Not you."

Medic felt happy. As if already some progress was made with snipers recovery and his "issue" with the german.

"And on the bright side I know whats on the other side when I die-well would you look at that."

"Hm?"

Sniper pointed to the setting sun.

"Wow. Its vonderful."

"You think that now but wait til you see this. C'mon."

"but ve just got here."

"Aw c'mon doc the sun is setting we're wasting time!"

"Alright Im up."
