Background:
- Born in Chicago, Illinois as Jared Jeon, Jiseok was constantly moving with his family. As a result, he wasn't exactly as social, usually preferring to sit and read his many books instead of socialize. However, his family eventually settled down in Portland when he turned nine. This is around the time that he started taking dance lessons. He had a particular interest in the difficult choreography he often saw in K-Pop videos, specifically in groups like BIGBANG. He began to dream of becoming an idol, although he knew the possibility of that happening to him was slim. He never stopped dreaming, however. In school, he was still as introverted as he had been when he was younger. He often wrote poetry when he had finished his book early. However, when puberty hit, his body began to lose some of it's agility that he'd had when he was younger, and he never felt quite used to the new distance between himself and the floor, causing him to be rather clumsy. Never losing his dream of becoming an idol, he kept an eye out for auditions that would come to look for new trainees.
