× × × ×

I am an apple.

And I need to know how a banana would look like from my perspective.

Oh, don't worry.I am not mad.And I am not an apple, for sure.Just the sacrifices I'm doing for art.

I leave my thin leaded pen to desk as I frown.I'm done for today.I stand up and rip up the artistic paper I've done from my painting book.

"I'm leaving, Miss Townsen!" I shout in the big art class.I don't know if she hears me or not, but as the magnetic door opens, she should have.

It is going to be more boring than I thought to leave the magical atmosphere of art class behind and go back to school again.

A while after I close the door and take some steps towards my next class, a shoulder brushes mine.As I lazily lift my head up and look, I realize it was Froy Gutierrez.

His blue eyes are carefully looking at me, and after a few seconds he is glancing at the paper I was holding carefully. His eyebrows under his dark blonde hair raises up in an angle that I can't clearly see.

"This looks nice," he tells me, approvingly. And he just goes on.

I don't know what to do, other than just keep walking which is what I decide to do quickly. It is really weird to see someone social and popular talking to me.

Froy isn't really like any other student in this school. At least that is what I observed from our only mutual lesson, English History. He has that annoying participating spirit, while he was one of the most rumored people of the school. Therefore as a result, he is quite popular among people.

Also, bad reputationed.

Thinking all of these again and again, I find what he said to me more weird. But maybe it is just me who is making it worse. He has just apprecited my art yet I keep exaggerating it.

It was a thing everyone else could easily do.

I shake my head invisibly before entering to the class.I can't believe myself.I am finally going to graduate this year, and I am going to do it as a person hating everybody on that school- well, except for my best friend.

I take a deep breath and sit on my desk quickly.

~

Bella is really good at finding empty tables, which is an amazing skill in terms of preventing us from searching the whole dining hall.

As we quietly sit on the one she has just aimed, Bella smiles slily.

When she starts speaking, I am about to ask why.

"Mr Kinney matched us," she whispers, chuckling."I'm going to share a homework with Alex!" She sighs, as the idea of doing a homework with her crush is the best thing happening to her.I give her a forced smile, but I am concerning inside.I probably need to check that Alex guy really soon.

After a few more giggles and dreamy talks, I focus on my meal pensively. The students are extra loud today, it is still a dark mystery how they are finding so many things to talk about.Even Bella and I are not that talkative during the long break, and our talks are usually about our dreams, desires of exploring and complaining about our remaining lives.

A tall silhouette interrupts all of my thoughts in a sudden. It is almost impossible not to look that way when Bella turns her head. And considering that our table is the one he is walking to, I don't have another chance.

Froy.Again.

When he reaches our table, he first looks up to his friends' table coldly, as if he is warning them not to examine everything he's doing.

I am almost going to laugh at how vain that was if I didn't remember he was just next to my table.

But as proving me wrong, slowly they go back to their bussiness.Froy's eyes make their way to mine, surveying carefully, he finally speaks."I need to talk to you.Not here." He addd, like I would actually accept talking here.

I just nod, and it is enough for him to turn back and step quickly to art class.I can feel Bella is staring at me her eyes wide open, the only thing I can do is giving her an apologizing glance as I leave the hall right behind Froy. She is rightly wondering what he can possibly want from me, just like I do.

After a few more corridors that we pass, we are in front of the art class.I raise my eyebrows and give him a confused look.He bite his lips and smile.

"Does the arts club consist of both music and painting?" he asks, in a serene tone.

"Yes," I reply, my eyebrows still raised. He nods confirmingly.I take my glance elsewhere before the possibility of staring at his eyes occurs.

He takes a step closer.

"I need to-at some point, I have to- take a club lesson in order to receive a diploma." I can sense he is unhappy with it.He exhales loudly and continues."I think it would be good if I choose music. You help Miss Townsen, right? It would be amazing if you could convince her to add me."

I finally look back to his eyes. They are shining intensely and scrutinizing my face to get a proper answer."Okay."

He moves behind, his eyebrows knitted together."Was it that easy?"

I laugh idly."Miss Townsen and her club are always open to new students." I stop realizing something."That sounded like a memorized anthem." I shrug.

He laughs."Thank you," he said warmly."What's your name?"

"Stella."

"Froy."

"Encantada, Froy," I say, like I don't know who he is already."You will probably hear from Miss Townsen really soon."

I just stand there aimlessly until he gets fully lost.
