Once upon a time there lived hare and he was the fastest in the land. Every one thought it was impossible to beat the hare in a race. One day the lion made an announcement "the hare is the fastest animal of all out land, no-one van beat him in a race. Every one has failed trying ". Suddenly they heard laughing coming from somewhere in the crowd."what's so funny?" Demanded the hare.
"I think I can beat you in a race hare" it was a tortoise who had just managed to scuttle along to the announcement at the last minute.", you stupid little tortoise you can never beat me in the race you're very very stupid" the hare laughed
" ok good just have to wait and see hare"the tortoise said as loud as it could with its tiny little voice

A few hours later the tortoise found himself about to race the fastest animal in their entire village.
The lion shouted go and at the moment that was said the hare was off racing through the air but it seemed he was racing no one as the tortoise was still way way way at the beggining. Since he realised his opponent was going to take forever to reach this point decided to take a snooze. P0mAreA looooooong time later the tortoise had finally reached the point where the hare was taking a 😴 nap. The tortoise snuck past the sleeping hare and was headed towards the finish line. By the time the hare woke up it was by the roaring of the crowd cheering on the tortoise as he crossed the finish line.
" hey my ego and pride had stopped me from winning this race no I have lost known that I could have won"
