Meadowpaw jumped out of her nest and prodded him awake with her paw. They both padded out to the fresh-kill pile. A few hours later Leopard called a clan meeting. " All cats old enough to defend and feed their clan gather beneath fallen tree!" Meadowpaw watched as all of her clan padded over. Leopard yowled "We will be naming two new warriors! Meadowpaw, do you promise to protect your clan, even at the cost of you life?" Meadowpaw replied "Yes Leopard. I do." Leopard then replied "Then, by the power of Starclan, I grant you your warrior name! You will know be known as Meadowfawn!" Meadowfawn then replied "Thank you Leopard!" Leopard yowled "And Buckpaw do you promise to protect your clan, even at the cost of your life?" Buckpaw replied "I do Leopard." Leopard said "Then, by the power of Starclan, I grant you your warrior name. You will be known as Buckpelt!" The whole clan then chanted "Meadowfawn! Buckpelt! Meadowfawn! Buckpelt!"
